Stampin’ Up! At Home With You-Fall CAS Card

Today I am sharing a very CAS (clean and simple) card using the At Home With You Bundle, with a little help from some “friends”.  Because I wanted a fall themed card, I not only used the fall elements from At Home With You, but also the sentiment from Seasonal Lantern.  And, since fall is typically the time of year we tend to re-count our blessings, I got some help with a sentiment from the Count My Blessings stamp set.

I was inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #304, which is clean and simple.

FMS#304

My card started with a panel of Cajun Craze that was adhered to a panel of Very Vanilla with liquid glue.  Next, I adhered a panel of the beautiful Painted Autumn DSP to a narrow panel of Cajun Craze and then dry fit it to the card to determine where I’d like the sentiment stamped.  Using my Stamp-a-ma-jig, I stamped each word separately so that they would be stacked.  The DSP panel was then glued to the Very Vanilla panel.

A double strand of Linen Thread was wound around the narrow panel and a bow tied, the back was secured with some tape.

I stamped the floral image from At Home With You in Basic Black onto a panel of water color paper, then colored in each part using an Aqua Pen and the tops of my stamp pads.  Once dry, I cut it out with the corresponding die from the At Home Framelits.  The die cut piece was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and then the whole circle panel to the front with more dimensionals.  One heart shaped Cajun Craze enamel shape was added for some bling.  Finally, the whole art panel was adhered to the Very Vanilla card base with dimensionals.

I kept to the CAS look for the inside, adding more of the DSP used on the front to the bottom of my Very Vanilla panel. I stamped the sentiment from Count My Blessings in Cajun Craze, then glued the panel to the Very Vanilla base.

A complete list of stamping supplies as well as card stock cuts are at the end of my post.
