Merry Cafe & Pick a Pumpkin for Happy Inkin’ Thursday

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Merry Cafe and Pick a Pumpkin stamp sets to create my card for our color challenge today.  (And some help from the Colorful Seasons Bundle, too)

Happy Inkin' Thursday

All three of these stamp set/bundles have become favorites of mine! I started with the wood grain panel of Coffee Break DSP and dry embossed it with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.  Remember when using these thicker folders, spritz your paper lightly with water.  The embossed panel was adhered to a panel of Early Expresso, then I adhered a banner cut from another panel of the Coffee Break DSP and my Banner Triple Punch.  These were then popped onto the Tangerine Tango base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The small leaf image from the Merry Cafe stamp set was stamped in Early Expresso ink onto a panel of Wood Textures DSP and the lid was stamped in Early Expresso onto Tangerine Tango.  Both were die cut with the Coffee Cups Framelits.  The sentiment was stamped in Tangerine Tango, die cut and then the edges were sponged with Early Expresso ink.  The pumpkins, from Pick a Pumpkin, were stamped and die cut with the Patterned Pumpkin Thinlets Dies.  The large veined leaf, from Colorful Seasons, was stamped in Early Expresso.  The smaller leaf is also from Colorful Seasons and was stamped in Lemon Lime Twist onto Lemon Lime Twist paper, die cut, then sponged with Early Expresso ink around the edges.

For the inside, I chose to add one more of the pumpkins from the Pick a Pumpkin Bundle and added a little vine in Lemon Lime Twist.  Enjoy!

A complete list of stamping supplies and card stock cuts are at the end of the post.

Stampin’ Up! Merry Cafe for Happy Inkin’ Thursday

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Hi Stampers! We have a color challenge this week, and I used the Merry Cafe stamp set and Coffee Cups Framelits Dies to create the card I am sharing with you.

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Stampin' Up! Merry Cafe-Cardiology by Jari

I had so much fun with this Merry Cafe stamp set and these colors this week!  The Lemon Lime Twist and Real Red really make a statement together, don’t they?  Luckily, the Quilted Christmas DSP helped out with getting in all of the colors required.

As you can see, I also got in some dry embossing with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for the Lemon Lime Twist backdrop.

The coffee cup images and lids were stamped onto the DSP, Garden Green and Real Red card stock with Soft Suede ink, then die cut out.  For the Whisper White cup sleeve, I stamped the sentiments on after die cutting it and added the holly berries and leaves, then went around the edges with my Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Marker to give a defined border.  The Lemon Lime Twist cup sleeve was die cut from the die with the ridges and a Silver Foil snowflake from the Seasonal Layers Thinlets was adhered to the center of it.

The Silver Foil swirl serving as steam is from the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlets Dies.  I matted the red-checked Quilted Christmas DSP onto some Whisper White and then onto the Lemon Lime Twist panel.  A length of 1/4″ Ombre Lemon Lime Twist was wrapped around then, and a bow tied.  The coffee cups were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then the whole art panel adhered to the Real Red card stock base with more dimensionals.  An extra sentiment from Merry Cafe was stamped in Real Red, cut out with the smallest banner from the Bunch of Banners Framelits, adhered with dimensionals and the front was complete.

More holly and berries and the sentiment were stamped onto a Whisper White panel, then a thin strip of the Quilted Christmas DSP was added to the bottom and my card was finished!

A complete list of stamping supplies and card stock cuts will be at the end of my post.

Halloween Fun for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Hop

Amy's Inkin' Krew Team Blog Hop

Ready for some Halloween fun?  Well, that is the theme of our blog hop this month!  Whether you’re just starting the hop here or have already hopped some, I hope you find some inspiration for your own cards today.  We’re so glad you joined us.  I used the Merry Cafe stamp set and the Spooky Night Designer Series paper to help create my Halloween card for today.

Stampin' Up! Merry Cafe Halloween-Cardiology by Jari

I started by adhering a panel of Very Vanilla to a panel of Basic Black, then I added a narrow strip of the Spooky Night DSP with liquid glue.  This center panel was then adhered to panels of Spooky Night DSP and Pumpkin Pie with liquid glue.

Stampin' Up! Merry Cafe Halloween-Cardiology by Jari

Next, I stamped the coffee cup image from Merry Cafe onto a patterned panel from Spooky Night DSP.  The coffee cup lid was stamped onto Pumpkin Pie, then both cup and lid were cut out with the Coffee Cups Framelits.  The spider web was stamped on the cup and then the sentiment onto a Very Vanilla panel.  Once the sentiment was die cut, I used my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to add dotted lines around the perimeter and adhered it to the cup.  The lid was adhered with small dots of liquid glue and the whole cup then added to the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used my Patterned Pumpkins Thinlets Dies to cut out the open pumpkin and the pumpkin peeking out from the inside, then used my Paper Snips to cut out the other pumpkin, jack-o-lanterns, witch’s hat, cat and even the tiny little spider I added to the coffee cup! Once all of the pieces were cut out, I adhered them with liquid glue and dimensionals. Then, I added the little stars from the pumpkin I cut out that you see here on the inside.

The inside sentiment is from Glamper Greetings and the hat courtesy of the Spooky Night DSP and my Paper Snips!

A complete list of stamping supplies and card stock cuts are at the end of my post.
