Stampin’ Up! Tasty Trucks for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, and welcome to another Happy Stampers Blog Hop.  I am sharing a  sneak peek of the Tasty Trucks stamp set available on January 4th.  Tasty Trucks is found in the Sale-a-Bration catalog and is FREE with a $50 purchase from Stampin’ Up! during Sale-a-Bration.  Yippee!!

Tasty Trucks

Here is our sketch:

Tasty Trucks

First, I stamped the truck image from Tasty Trucks in Basic Black Archival ink onto a panel of Whisper White.  Then, I stamped the tacos in the truck window, also using Basic Black Archival ink.

Tasty Trucks

The next step was to color in all of the images, so I pulled out some of the new Watercolor Pencils (available on January 4th), a blender pen, and some Stampin’ Write markers.  Once the coloring was completed, I moved on to the sentiment banner.   Isn’t that a cute sentiment?  It was stamped in Basic Black Archival ink on Whisper White and die cut with the smallest banner from the Banners Framelits.  I also cut out a Pumpkin Pie and Emerald Envy banner to stack with the sentiment banner.

Tasty Trucks

My Whisper White banner looked too stark, so I fussy cut out a pepper and Mexican Sombrero from the Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper and adhered them to the end with some liquid glue.  The front layers are Whisper White for the base, Emerald Envy and Festive Birthday DSP.  Then, Pumpkin Pie and more Festive Birthday, and finally, more Emerald Envy and the Whisper White art panel.

Tasty Trucks

I used the Stylized Birthday stamp for the inside sentiment, stamping in Emerald Envy.  The strip at the bottom is another coordinating piece of the Festive Birthday DSP.

Card stock cuts in inches and products used to to create this card are at the end of the post.

Now, I hope you’ll hop on over to Kristi’s blog to see her wonderful creation for today!

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You for the Happy Stampers

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Welcome to this Thursday edition of the Happy Stampers Blog Hop.  I am sharing a sneak peek of Beautiful You, from the upcoming 2017 Occasions Catalog from Stampin’ Up, available on January 4th.

Beautiful You

And, if you follow the Happy Stampers, you know this week is a color challenge:

Happy Stampers Blog Hop color challenge

I fell in love with Beautiful You the minute I saw it at OnStage Atlanta in November!  Is is such a cool set of stamps.  I know you will love it, too.  By now, you have probably seen it out on Pinterest, but I know you will see more of it very soon.  You can use water coloring, as I did, or Stampin’ write Markers, or the new Watercolor Pencils available January 4th, to color in your images.  I have seen some cards, though, with just the outline of the woman stamped that are just as beautiful as the colored in ones.

Beautiful You

I stamped the image in Stazon Black ink onto Water Color paper.  Once dry, I used my Dapper Denim and Aqua Painter to color the skirt and dress.  Next, I  water colored the hat with Emerald Envy. I left a little “shadow” of both colors to the left of the dress and hat, then colored a little on the ground with Emerald Envy.

Beautiful You

The Beautiful You sentiment was stamped onto a panel of watercolor paper in Stazon Black ink.  I then water colored with Emerald Envy over the larger words.  Once it was dry, I used an oval Stitched Shapes Framelit Die to cut it out. The ribbon is 3/8″ Emerald Envy Silky Taffeta from the combo pack, on sale now for $4.50!

Beautiful You

I used another of the sentiments from Beautiful You and stamped it also in Stazon Black ink.  I added a little water color wash over it using some of the Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim inks again.

Card stock cuts in inches and products used are at the end of the post.

Sealed With Love for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Stampers

Hi and welcome to another week with the Happy Stampers!  My share today is another sneak peek from the 2017 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog.  I created a fun Valentine card with the Sealed With Love stamp set and Love Notes Framelits Dies.  Yes, I know we haven’t made it to Christmas yet, but I really wanted to share one of the new suites with you!

I also used a little creative license with the sketch for this week.

The Sketch:Happy Stampers sketch

My Card:

Sealed With Love

Don’t you just love the new Love Notes Framelits?  My card base is Soft Sky and I die cut it right on the edge to create those adorable hearts as the border.  The sentiments in Sealed With Love have beautiful fonts.  And, of course, bundle the stamp set and framelits and you will save 10%.  The Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stacks is also featured on my card.

Sealed With Love

The Real Red and Soft Sky hearts and the Real Red arrow were die cut with the Love Notes Framelits dies.  The wooden heart is from the Sending Love Embellishments that can be purchased to accent this set.  Sorry, you have to wait until January 4, 2017 to order all of these products!  But, you could become a demonstrator and get your hands on them sooner……..

.Sealed With Love

The lips stamp, from Sealed With Love, has to be my absolute favorite, but isn’t that font for the sentiment pretty?  I used one of my Sweet & Sassy Framelits dies to cut it out.  (They are available for purchase now.)

Take a peek at the Sealed With Love stamp set and the Love Notes Framelits:

Stampin’ Up! Tin of Tags for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Tin of Tags for Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Wow, it’s December 1st!  My share for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop today is from Tin of Tags from Stampin’ Up! The countdown is really on for completing Christmas card making!

Here is our color challenge-and it was really a challenge for me!

Tin

I got some inspiration from the SIP challenge #76, too

SIP #76

I was happy with how it turned out and I love these colors together. So glad I tried them!

Tin

Instructions:

I used Soft Sky as my card base and added layers of Whisper White and Soft Sky from the Subtles DSP stack.  My art piece was stamped with the large snowflake image from Tin of Tags in Soft Sky.  I stamped the small snowflake image from Hang Your Stocking in Sweet Sugarplum.  Then, I dry embossed the panel with my Softly Falling Textured Embossing Folder and framed it with a panel of Sweet Sugarplum.

Tin

I fold/pleated two lengths of 3/8″ Sweet Sugarplum Glitter Ribbon and used glue dots to keep the folds together.  Then, I added some Tear & Tape adhesive to the backs and adhered them to the art panel.  Next I created my sentiment from Tin of Tags, coloring onto the stamp with Soft Sky and Sweet Sugarplum inks.  I cut the circles out with my Layering Circles Framelits Dies and adhered them, then popped them on with dimensionals.

A few Rhinestones Basic Jewels and Silver Sequins were added for some bling.

Inside:

Tin

I chose a different sentiment from Tin of Tags for the inside, and tried to mimic the front art panel somewhat.

Card stock cuts in inches and products used to create my card are at the end of the post

Hang Your Stocking for the Happy Stampers

Hang Your Stocking for Happy Stampers Blog Hop

It’s not long until you will need to Hang Your Stocking!  Can you believe how close we are to Christmas?  Today we have a color challenge using Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla, perfect for the holidays!  So, I decided to use the Hang Your Stocking Bundle.  What a great set of stamps and Thinlets Dies!  (And, the stamps are on sale right now!)

Our colors:

Happy Stampers color challenge

Here is what I created today:

Hang Your Stocking

My Very Vanilla panel was dry embossed with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF). then I attached some strips of Warmth & Cheer DSP with liquid glue.  I created two stockings using Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green DSP with the Christmas Stocking Thinlets Dies.  Then, I stamped the holly images from Hang Your Stocking in Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green.  They were die cut with the same thinlets dies and bows added with the Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Trio pack.

Hang Your stocking

Next, I cut out the Noel in Cherry Cobbler and attached it to the front panel with little dabs of liquid glue.  Then, Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to the centers of the stockings before I popped them onto the front with dimensionals.  When I die cut the Very Vanilla part of the stockings, I wound up with a snowflake image, so I added another rhinestone to it and added it to the front with a small piece of dimensional.  The Very Vanilla panel was then added to the Cherry Cobbler base with dimensionals.

Hang your stocking

The inside Very Vanilla panel was stamped with a sentiment from Hang Your Stocking in Cherry Cobbler ink.  I used the extra snowflake on the inside, too, but attached it with glue.  My little Christmas trees are die cut from the Christmas Stocking Thinlets Dies and are also attached with liquid glue.

Card stock cuts in inches and products used are at the end of the post.

Candy Cane Lane for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

I’m combining Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper and Oh What Fun from Stampin’ Up! for my share for the Happy Stampers today.

Here is our sketch:

Candy Cane for Happy Stampers

Candy Cane Lane

Ok, another easy peasy Christmas Card!   This time with the help of the wonderful Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper.  I first cut my Real Red panel and then the background Candy Cane Lane paper, making sure my strips would fit evenly across with a little space in-between.  The three panels were adhered with liquid glue. A strip of Candy Cane Lane Designer Washi Tape was then added to the bottom of the panel.  Next came the fussy cutting of the adorable gingerbread houses.  I decided the chimneys needed some smoke coming out, so I die cut the “flame” from the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits Dies in Early Expresso card stock.

Candy Cane Lane

I inked up the “oh, what fun” from the Oh What Fun stamp set in versamark ink, stamped it on a panel of Early Expresso paper, sprinkled on some White Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat embossed it.  Then, I used my Triple Banner Punch to create a banner on one end.  I fussy cut the gingerbread boy from the Candy Cane Lane DSP and adhered it to the banner and added the houses and banner to the front with dimensionals.

Candy Cane Lane

For the inside, I used more of the DSP and Washi I had used on the front and adhered it to my Early Expresso card base.  The sentiment is another one from Oh What Fun and also heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on my Real Red panel. I used the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies to cut 2 ovals.  Just for fun, I stamped some of the candy images from Candy Cane Christmas, fussy cut them, and glued them together, then popped them on with a Stampin’ dimensional.

Candy Cane Lane

For my envelope, I added another design from the Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape for a little added fun!

Jolly Moose for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Jolly Friends stamp set to create my Jolly Moose Christmas card for our hop for today.  This week, we have a color challenge using these rich holiday colors:

Happy Stampers blog hop

I also used the sketch over at Fab Friday to give some creation inspiration

Fab Fri 99

Jolly Moose

I stamped my moose image from Jolly Friends in Early Expresso, and fussy cut him with my Paper Snips. Next,  I stamped the cap parts in Cherry Cobbler ink and punched them with the Jolly Hat Builder Punch.  The scarf was also stamped in Cherry Cobbler, but I fussy cut it. The sentiment is from Tin of Tags.  It was stamped in Garden Green, then die cut with a Layering Ovals Framelit Die.   I framed that oval with another scalloped oval in Cherry Cobbler.

Jolly Moose

My card base is Crumb Cake. First, I stamped the snow flake images from Christmas Pines several times in Garden Green ink onto my Garden Green card stock panel.  The banners were cut from the Warmth & Cheer DSP. Then, I swirled some Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Baker’s Twine onto the front before adding the sentiment ovals with dimensionals.

Jolly Moose

For the inside, I stamped Merry Christmas, from Better Together, and die cut another oval.  Then, I die cut some “mistletoe” from the Pretty Pines Thinlets Dies and tied them together with more of the Baker’s Twine.

Card stock cuts and products used are listed at the end of the post.

Paisley Birthday for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Hi Stampers, it’s a sketch challenge this week, and I have created a Paisley Birthday card using Paisleys & Posies from Stampin’ Up!

Here is our sketch challenge :

Paisley Birthday sketch

Stampin’ Up! Paisley Birthday from Paisleys & Posies stamp set:

Paisley Birthday

As beautiful as this Petals & Paisleys Spectialty DSP is, it is difficult to photograph!  (At least for me)  The copper and navy really make a statement together, don’t they?

Paisley Birthday

The Petals & Paisleys DSP was adhered to a panel of Copper Foil with glue, then popped onto the Night of Navy card stock base with dimensionals.  Using some Versa Mark ink, I stamped two of the paisley images from Paisleys & Posies onto a scrap of Night of Navy card stock.  Then, I sprinkled them with Copper Emboss powder and heat embossed them. Once cooled, I die cut them with the matching Paisley Framelits Dies.

Paisley Birthday

I pulled out the leaf looking die from the Paisley Framelits and die cut one from the Copper Foil Sheets. Next,  I stamped Happy Birthday from Sunshine Sayings in Versa Mark ink onto a scrap of Night of Navy card stock and also heat embossed it with Copper Emboss powder.  It was cut out with a small Layering Oval Die and glued onto a Copper Foil label I punched with my Deco Label punch. The label and die cuts were popped onto the front with dimensionals.

Paisley Birthday

I used the Celebrate You sentiment from Suite Sayings and stamped it in Night of Navy ink onto a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  Two strips of the Petals & Paisley Specialty DSP were added to the top and bottom of the sentiment panel.

Paisley Birthday

To  complete my Paisley Birthday card, I stamped the floral image onto a Very Vanilla medium envelope in Night of Navy ink.

Card stock cuts in inches and products used in creating my card are at the end of the post.

Wonderful Year for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Welcome to our Happy Stampers Blog Hop.  I am sharing a card using Wonderful Year from Stampin’ Up!  Wonderful Year has two very large sentiments that create quite a statement for your Christmas cards this year.

Here is our color challenge for this week:

wonderful for Happy Stampers

wonderful Year

I began by inking up the Wishing You a Joyful Christmas stamp from Wonderful Year in Cherry Cobbler ink.  Before stamping, I used a baby wipe to clean off the bough and berry image on either side of the sentiment.   Then, I used my Emerald Envy Stampin’ Write marker to color them in, huffed all over the ink and stamped onto a square panel of Whisper White card stock.  I added two Cherry Cobbler Enamel Shapes where the berries would be.  A frame of Emerald Envy card stock was adhered to the sentiiment panel with liquid glue.

Wonderful Year

I cut a narrow panel from Presents & Pinecones DSP (part of the buy 3 get 1 free sale going on right now), and glued it to a panel of Emerald Envy card stock (striped) from the 2016-2018 In color Designer Series Paper Stacks.  That panel was then glued to a little larger panel of Emerald Envy card stock before popping it onto the Mint Macaron card stock base with dimensionals.  Using the small bow from the Pretty Pines Thinlets Dies, I die cut three bows in Cherry Cobbler.  Those three are glued together with tiny dots of liquid glue.

I cut a length of Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine and pulled one end through the Holly Christmas Trinket, wrapped it around the loops of the bow, tied a knot and trimmed off the ends.  A couple of glue dots were added to the back to secure it to the front of the sentiment panel, then the panel added to the front of the card with dimensionals.

Wonderful Year

The inside Whisper White panel is stamped with another of the sentiments from Wonderful Year in Cherry Cobbler and Emerald Envy inks.  I used another panel of the Emerald Envy In Colors DSP as a frame for the sentiment panel, and again glued them with liquid glue.

Card stock cuts in inches and products used will be at the end of my post.

Love & Congrats for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Welcome to another Thursday and the Happy Stampers Blog Hop.  We’re here to share some of our ideas with you to get your creative juices flowing!  Today, I’m sharing a wedding card full of Love & Congrats, compliments of the Sunshine Sayings stamp set and Sunshine Wishes Thinlets Dies from Stampin’ Up!  (Bundle and save 10%-Yes!)

Here are the colors we had to work with.  Pretty, right?  Why not see what you can create with these….

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Here is what I came up with:

Love & Congrats

First, I stamped some “grunge” from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set onto a panel of Mint Macaron.  I inked up the stamp with Mint Macaron and stamped it off onto a piece of scrap paper before actually stamping it onto my card. Then, I adhered that panel onto a panel of Rich Razzleberry with liquid glue.

Love & Congrats

My next task was to create the sentiment, so I die cut three Rich Razzleberry Congrats, using the die from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlets.  I like to die cut several so that the letters pack a little more punch on the card.  They were adhered with my Fine Tip Glue Pen (just small dots).  The hearts were also die cut with Sunshine Wishes Thinlets.  I cut four of them and created 2 hearts for the front, adhering again with the Fine Tip Glue Pen.  Once I decided where all of the die cuts would go, I adhered them to the front of the double layered panel.  Notice that the heart on the right is not glued totally down, it is only attached where the two hearts touch at the bottom.

Love & Congrats

The flower images were created with the Jar of Love Bundle, and I used Rich Razzleberry, Mint Macaron and Delightful Dijon inks on a panel of Whisper White, then die cut them.  Also included in the Everyday Jars Framelits is a die that created those small white hearts I used as accents.  Some of the flowers are adhered directly to the front, while a few are popped on with dimensionals.  A length of Rich Razzleberry ribbon was adhered with Tear & Tape, and then the panel was popped onto the Whisper White Thick Cardstock base with dimensionals.

Now for the Love portion to my Love & Congrats card:

Love & Congrats

I searched and searched my stamps and finally found Wishing you on a stamp in the Suite Sayings set that was really meant as an Easter sentiment!  I just taped off the part I did not want to stamp, used my Stampin’ Write marker on the words I wanted, and stamped!  A Lifetime Of is from Sunshine Sayings, and the love part of Love & Congrats is another die from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlets.
