Today is the day many of you have been waiting for! It’s August 1st, and ordering begins for the Carols of Christmas Bundle. Are you so excited? I hope so, because this bundle is perfect for all of your holiday cards and beyond! What a perfect day to showcase another card created with the Carols of Christmas Bundle from Stampin’ Up!
I just love the large sentiments in this stamp set. And, if you feel they are too large for your card, you can certainly cut it in half as I did in THIS card.
I started by stamping the ornament images in Cherry Cobbler, then Garden Green onto a panel of Whisper White. For the second set of ornaments (Garden Green) I carefully wiped off the last ornament after it had been inked up so that I would only have 2 ornaments hanging to the right of the Cherry Cobbler ornaments. That panel was framed with a little larger panel in Cherry Cobbler card stock with Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
Next, I stamped the Deck the Halls sentiment in VersaMark ink onto a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock, sprinkled it with White Emboss Powder and heated it until smooth and shiny with a Heat Tool. Once cool enough to handle, I die but it with a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. Two narrow strips of the Be Merry Designer Series Paper were cut and framed with strips of Garden Green card stock and then adhered to the lower front of the card with liquid glue.
I pulled out a silver Metallic Foil Doily and adhered it to the front of the card, then cut a length of Silver Mini Sequin Trim and adhered it with several Glue Dots. This panel was adhered to the Garden Green card stock base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Then, the scalloped circle sentiment was adhered over the silver doily with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the holly, I used Garden Green ink and carefully wiped off the center berries and stamped. Then, I came back with the berry images from the stamp set and stamped them in Cherry Cobbler ink. I used the die from the Card Front Builder Thinlets (part of the bundle) to cut them out and adhered them to the front with small dimensionals. The final touch was to add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the centers of the ornaments.
More ornaments in Garden Green were stamped on the inside Whisper White panel and I chose the sentiment from the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and stamped it in Cherry Cobbler ink. The narrow strip is the reverse side of the Be Merry DSP used on the front of my card.
So, are you ready to order the Carols of Christmas Bundle?
