Stampin’ Up! Basket Bunch Easter Treat Holders

I used the Basket Bunch Bundle and Tag Topper Punch from Stampin’ Up!, to create some Easter Treat holders to share with you today.

I started with 2″ x 8 1/2″ strips of Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Tempting Turquoise card stock and scored them at 4″ and 4 1/2″.  Then, I  punched both ends of each strip with my Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  Next, I cut an oval with my Layering Ovals Framelits Dies about 3/4″ above the  4″ scored line to make a little window.

Next, I used a bone folder to crease the scored lines so that I had a front and a back. Grass was die cut using the Basket Builder Framelits Dies and adhered to the inside so that it would show through the oval window.  To frame the outside oval, I die cut a scalloped oval with the same sized oval used for the window, nested inside. Thus creating an open frame. I stamped the bunnies and small eggs and die cut them with the Basket Builder Framelits Dies.  The sentiment was stamped on a strip of Whisper White and die cut with the banner frame found in the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlets Dies.  Stampin' Up! Fill Cellophane Bags with candy of your choice, secure the top and slip inside your Easter Treat Holder, add ribbon to the tops, tie on your sentiment banners and you’re finished.  Enjoy!

A complete list of Stampin’ Up! supplies will be listed at the end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! Basket Bunch Thank You

Today I am sharing the Basket Bunch Bundle from Stampin’ Up!  I just received this bundle last Sunday from my up-line, Amy, and have been dying to try it out.  Have I told you how much I love our quarterly team meetings?  We get together for lunch, have a business meeting, make projects and then receive prizes!  Woo-hoo!  I’d really love to have you on my team, you’d love it, too!  Make sure you get in touch with me if you are interested.

I made a Basket Bunch Thank You card on a Whisper White Note Card.

I started with a Crumb Cake panel that I dry embossed with the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, then snailed it to a panel of Wild Wasabi card stock.  Next, I adhered a panel of the Carried Away DSP (free while supplies last during Sale-A-Bration) to a panel of Peekaboo Peach card stock.  Using the Basket Builder Framelits Dies, I cut out two bunches of grass in Wild Wasabi and attached it to the Peekaboo Peach panel.  A length of Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon was adhered to the bottom and the back with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

Next, I stamped the rabbit and carrot images from Basket Bunch in Memento Black ink.  This ink does not stain the photopolymer stamps as much as other inks do.  I used a Blender Pen and carefully colored in the rabbit with Crumb Cake ink, making sure not to get it too wet.  I used Stampin’ Write Markers to color in the rest of the images.and then cut them all out with the dies.  The sentiment was stamped in Versa Mark, sprinkled with Gold Emboss Powder and heat embossed.  The banners were cut with the die from the Popcorn Box Thinlets.

For the inside of my card, I stamped the grass in Wild Wasabi along the bottom of a panel of Whisper White.  I stamped the rabbit and the carrot in Memento Black ink and colored them in with Stampin’ Write Markers.  The sentiment was stamped in Peekaboo Peach.  So, how do you like it?  I know if you haven’t added the Basket Bunch Bundle to your stash, you really must consider it.  You’ll be seeing me post more with this set!
