Jari Francis, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Stampin’ Up! Hello Friend Thank You

Well, it’s the weekend, and I hope you’re planning something fun, maybe even some stamping?  For my share today I used the Hello Friend stamp set.  This set is found on page 17 of the Annual Catalog and can be purchased along with the Hello Friend Heat Embossing Kit.

The sketch was inspired by the Just Add Ink Challenge #370Just Add Ink challenge #370

I started with VersaMark ink and stamped the background image from Hello Friend onto a panel of Whisper White, sprinkled it with Copper Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  Once it had cooled, I adhered the panel to a little larger panel of Peekaboo Peach with some liquid glue.

Next, I stamped the wreath in Wild Wasabi onto another panel of Whisper White and die cut it with the largest Stitched Shapes Framelits circle die.  Using my Peekaboo Peach and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Write Markers, I applied ink to the stamp image with four flowers and huffed on it a few times to make it moist, then stamped over the wreath image.  I repeated that last step two more times.

I stamped the Hello stamp in VersaMark ink, sprinkled it with Copper Emboss powder, shook off the excess and heat embossed it.  Once it was cool enough to handle, I used my Paper Snips to cut out around the letters to give it a little pizzaz.   Some Peekaboo Peach 5.8″ Crinkle Binding was adhered to the card front and the wreath adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a bow with more of the Peekaboo Peach ribbon and adhered it to the wreath with Glue Dots.  The sentiment was popped on with dimensionals and a few Glitter Enamel Dots and Enamel Shapes were added for some bling.

I used more VersaMark ink and Copper Embossing Powder for the inside sentiment, and the other flower image from Hello Friend was stamped once in Calypso Coral and once in Peekaboo Peach.  The leaves were stamped in Wild Wasabi.  Enjoy!

Stamping supplies as well as card stock cuts in inches will be at the end of my post.
