Jari Francis, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Sharing Kindness for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

We’re here with another sketch challenge, so glad you are joining the hop!  My share today uses several Stampin’ Up! products and all of them combine to make the whole, so I could not give it a title with a stamp set name.  That is why I chose Sharing Kindness.  You’ll see what  I mean shortly!

Here is our sketch:

Happy Stampers Sketch 8/4/16

Sharing Kindness

Last week when Sandi shared her butterfly (see it here) made from the flower die from Sunshine Wishes, it made me think I could also use it for a larger flower head, and that’s just what I did!  I actually die cut 3 of the flower images and cut off the stems and played around until I had the shape I wanted.

Sharing Kindness

I glued the three Daffodil Deight pieces together in the middle with liquid glue, then I used dies from the Botanical Builders Die set for the flower centers in Night of Navy and Watermelon Wonder.  I curled them a little so that they would have some dimension and then popped them onto the center with dimensionals.

Sharing Kindness

I pulled out the flower image from Flower Shop that most resembled the larger flower and stamped 2 onto some Watermelon Wonder card stock, then punched them out with the Pansy Punch.  I also curled them a little and added a Daffodil Delight Enamel Shape to the centers.   The banner sentiment is from Thoughtful Branches (only available this month!).  I stamped it in Versa Mark ink and dusted it with Copper Embossing Powder, then heat embossed it.  I used the Banner Triple Punch to cut the one end of the Crumb Cake panel.
The layers are Affectionately Yours and Cucumber Crush and are popped onto the Night Of Navy base with dimensionals.

Sharing Kindness

I left the inside plain for plenty of room for writing, just added some of the Affectionately Yours DSP to the bottom of the Crumb Cake panel.

The final touch was to decorate the envelope with some more of the Affectionately Yours DSP.

Card stock cuts and products used will be at the end of my post.

Now, time to hop on over to Kristi Gray’s blog to see what she has created for our sketch challenge today!
