Jari Francis, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Count My Blessings for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Amy's Inkin' Krew Team Blog Hop

Welcome to our monthly team blog hop.  This month, our theme is Giving Thanks, and I used the Count My Blessings stamp set to create my card.

Stampin' Up! Count My Blessings-Cardiology by Jari

This sentiment from Count My Blessings is a favorite of mine.  I just love the message as well as the font, don’t you?  I used the Layered Leaves Textured Embossing Folder to create some interest on the Crushed Curry panel, then added banners from two of the pretty patterns from the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper.  The leaves are from the Painted Harvest stamp set, stamped in Garden Green and Lemon Lime Twist and punched out with the Leaf Punch.  I also used the Patterned Pumpkin Thinlets for the three Early Expresso sprigs.

Once the sentiment was stamped, I used the largest Stitched Shapes circle die to cut it out and matted it with a scalloped circle from the Layering Circle Framelits Dies.  A length of Burlap Ribbon was adhered to the front with some Tear & Tape Adhesive, then I attached the leaves and sprigs to the back of the sentiment panel with Glue Dots and popped it onto the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Finally, the art panel was popped onto the Crushed Curry card base with more dimensionals.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment in Early Expresso ink  and added a strip of the Painted Autumn DSP to the bottom of the Very Vanilla card stock before adhering the whole panel to the inside with Liquid Glue.

A complete list of stamping supplies and card stock cuts will be at the end of my post.

If this is your first stop on the Hop, I hope you will continue on around to see what all of my team members have created for today.  Just click on the banner below to get to where you would like to go.  A list of the team is also listed for you farther down.  Have fun!
