Christmas Cheer for Happy Inkin’ Thursday

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Time for some extra Christmas Cheer!  Don’t you just love this time of year?  Even though it is crazy and rushed, there is always a wonderful excitement in the air.  I used the Merry Cafe stamp set with a little help from the Coffee Cups Framelits, Pretty Pines Thinlets, Swirly Snowflake Thinlets and Seasonal Layers Thinlets Dies, whew!

We have a color challenge this week and since the colors are Gold, Real Red, and Garden Green, I decided to make one more Christmas card!

Stampin' Up! Christmas Cheer-CardiologybyJari

The Whisper White panel was dry embossed with the Softly Falling TIEF and adhered to a panel of Quilted Christmas DSP.  I cut a length of Quilted Christmas 1/4″ Ribbon and wrapped it around the matted panel, then tied a bow.

Next, I die cut the coffee cup and whipped cream from the Coffee Cups Framelits Dies, colored in the edges of the cream with my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker, and adhered it to the top of the cup.  The cup was then popped onto my layered panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment with Garden Green and Real Red ink and cut out a circle with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and matted it onto a Real Red scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies.

From Gold Foil, I die cut a snowflake from the Seasonal Layers Framelits Dies and the swirl from the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlets Dies.  Next, I pulled out the Pretty Pines Thinlets and cut several pine boughs in Garden Green and the berries in Real Red.  Then I began putting all of the parts together with Glue Dots and I added the the sentiment circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The inside sentiment is also from Merry Cafe and was stamped in Real Red ink.  The strip of DSP at the bottom matches the pattern used on the card front.  Enjoy!

This “ a cup of Christmas cheer “ is just the cutest happiest card. Some times all the stamps dies Thinlets and all the colors of papers seems like so much work especially when you have to put them all away. But when a card turns out like this it is so worth it. In case you couldn’t guess l just love this card. Thanks for sharing.
