My card for today is from the Stampin’ Up! Botanical Blooms stamp set and the beautiful Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper.
My inspiration for this card is from CAS(E) this Sketch #162, and here is the sketch:
I have been in love with Botanical Blooms ever since I saw the Botanical Gardens suite in the new Occasions Catalog. I bought the bundle right away, and have used it a lot (you know if you have followed me for a while!) This bundle, found on page 26, includes the Botanical Blooms stamp set, Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper, and Botanical Builder Framelits Dies. And, I love working with the Photopolymer stamps!
During Sale-a-Bration, going on now until March 31st, you can also earn Botanicals for You, another coordinating stamp set for Free! I used it to combine with Botanical Blooms on the front banner/art work image and on the inside of my card.
Card stock cuts (in inches) and tips for creating this card:
Hello Honey card base: 4 1/4 x 11; scored at 5 1/2; for flower: 2″ square
Cajun Craze frame: 4 x 5 1/4
Botanical Gardens DSP for front panel: 3 7/8 x 5 1/8
Whisper White banner: 2 1/8 x 4 1/2; inside panel is 4 x 5 1/4
Botanical Gardens DSP for Hello: 9 x 1 3/4 (I die cut it 3 times and glued the pieces together for depth)
Mint Macaron: scraps for leaves
Burlap ribbon: 5″
**Cut the Botanical Gardens DSP floral panel and stamp the insides of the flowers with Botanical Blooms stamps
**Adhere floral panel to Cajun Craze panel with MP glue and add the Burlap ribbon with Tear and Tape Adhesive. Pop up with Dimensionals
**Die cut Hello from Hello You thinlets 3 times and glue together
**Decorate banner panel with Botanical Blooms stamp that was inked with Stampin’ Write markers and then use Botanicals for You stamp for small flower images in Cajun Craze, Mint Macaron and Hello Honey inks. Add the die cut Hello with glue
**Die cut the flower with Botanical Builder dies on Hello Honey paper and sponge the edges with Cajun Craze ink, add centers of flower cut from the Botanical Builder dies using a dot of glue. Die cut the leaves and stamp fronds with Botanical Blooms with Cajun Craze ink, attach to flower and pop the flower onto the banner with a Dimensional.
**Decorate the inside as desired with the Botanical Blooms stamp set
