Lift Me Up Bundle Cardiology by Jari

We had a sketch to challenge us this week:Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop sketch challenge

I started by cutting out the large NIght of Navy hot air balloon from the Up & Away Thinletswhich are a part of the Lift Me Up Bundle.  Next, I die cut the pieces for the peek through colors on the balloon.  There are 6 die pieces and I used Mint Macaron, Watermelon Wonder, and Peekaboo Peach from top to bottom, repeating the colors in the same order. Next, I stamped the smallest hot air balloon in Peekaboo Peach onto Whisper White and die cut it.  I stamped the Thank You sentiment in Versa Mark onto Watermelon Wonder and heat embossed it with White Emboss Powder.  I was also die cut, then popped onto the balloon with a dimensional.

Lift Me Up Bundle Cardiology by Jari

The Whisper White individual clouds were then stamped in Mint Macaron, die cut and set aside.  My card base is Watermelon Wonder.  The next layer consists of some Carried Away DSP adhered to a panel of Mint Macaron, then popped onto the base with Dimensionals.  The smaller center panel is another pattern of Carried Away DSP (clouds), adhered to a panel of Mint Macaron.  It was also popped onto the card front with Dimensionals.

Lift Me Up Bundle Cardiology by Jari

Once all of the layers were secured, i added the hot air balloons and the clouds with Dimensionals.  I filled in the largest balloon with some Rhinestone Basic Jewels for some bling, and the front was complete.  The inside of the card has a Whisper White panel with a strip of the Carried Away DSP adhered just to the left side to leave room for a note.

And, because this paper is so cool, I decided to fancy up the outer flap of the envelope.  Just cut a strip of DSP a little longer and wider than your envelope flap, add some liquid glue to the outside of the flap, place the strip on top and cut off the excess with your Paper Snips.

So, if you do not have this Lift Me Up Bundle yet, have I convinced you that you really need to get it?

I will provide the card stock cuts in inches and a list of the products to create this card at the very end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! Avant Garden and One Big Meaning

I used Avant Garden and One Big Meaning from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share with you today.  Avant Garden is a free stamp set you can earn during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 or more order from my online store.  Sale-A-Bration is going on right now through March 31st.

Stampin'Up! Avant Garden One Big Meaning Cardiology by Jari

I used the sketch at Paper Craft Crew #232 for my card layout.

PCC#232

The colors were inspired by Fab Friday #106

Fab Friday #106

When the designers over at Fab Friday said a color challenge, that is exactly what it was for me!  I could think of things with some of the colors but not all of them at first!  They definitely pulled me out of my comfort zone.  I knew I wanted to use Avant Garden and that I needed a thank you card, so I combined Avant Garden and One Big Meaning, which is full of thank you sentiments!

Stampin' Up! Avant Garden One Big Meaning Cardiology by Jari

I started by stamping the flower images, the dotted images and the leaves onto a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  The art panel was then framed with a panel of Peekaboo Peach.  Next, I stamped the sentiment from One Big Meaning in Rich Razzleberry onto a panel of Very Vanilla.  I used the smallest Stitched Shapes Oval die to cut it out and then framed it with panels of Peekaboo Peach and Rich Razzleberry ovals from the Ovals Framelits Dies.

Stampin'Up!AvantGardenOneBigMeaning Cardiology by Jari

I adhered a panel from Blooms & Bliss DSP onto the Rich Razzleberry card stock base with liquid glue.  Then, I adhered a panel of Cupcakes and Carousels DSP onto a panel of Peekaboo Peach and popped it onto the base with Dimensionals.  I pulled out a Classy Designer Button, threaded it with some Linen Thread, and tied a bow around a small length of Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon. The button was attached to the art panel with several Glue Dots, then the art panel was popped on the front with Dimensionals.  To complete the front of the card, I popped the sentiment oval on with more Dimensionals.

stampin' Up! Avant Garden One Big Meaning Cardiology by Jari

I used a Very Vanilla panel for the inside and stamped the sentiment from One Big Meaning in Rich Razzleberry ink.  The flowers are more from Avant Garden and are stamped in Peekaboo Peach and Bermuda Bay to carry over the theme from the front.

Card stock cuts in inches and a list of Stampin’ Up! products used to create my Avant Garden One Big Meaning Thank You card will be at the end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! Window Shopping Thanks for Happy Inkin’ Thursday

Happy Inkin' Thursday

I paired up Window Shopping and Oh So Succulent from Stampin’ Up! for my share for the Blog Hop for today.

Shopping

We are playing with a color challenge, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Old Olive this week.

Shopping

I started with a panel of Tip Top Taupe and adhered a smaller panel of Succulent Garden (the floral pattern) to it with liquid glue.  Next, I took a panel of the checked Tip Top Taupe Succulent Garden DSP the same width as my floral pattern and marked it lightly with a pencil 1″ up from the bottom of the left side and 2 1/2″ on the right side.  Then, I lined up my pencil points on my Stampin Trimmer and cut it on the diagonal. It was adhered then to the other panel with glue.

Shopping

I pulled out my Tip Top Taupe Mini Striped Ribbon, cut a length, added some Tear & Tape and adhered it on the diagonal where the two panels met.  I stamped the sentiment from Window Shopping in Tip Top Taupe ink onto a pre-cut square of Whisper White card stock, then cleaned off my stamp.  Next, I stamped the sentiment once again in Mint Macaron on another piece of Whisper White.  The center part of the sentiment was all I wanted , so I used the banner die from the Gift Cards Envelope & Trims Framelits to cut it out and layer it over the original sentiment.

Shopping

My sentiment panel was then framed with a panel of Tip Top Taupe.  I pulled out one of the Lace Doilies and glued it to the front of the card.  Dimensionals were added to the back of the sentiment panel and I wound some loops of Silver Metallic Thread around them before popping it onto the front of the card.  Finally, I added a few Pearls for some bling.

Shopping

Originally, I had planned to add some of the succulents from Oh So Succulent, to the front of the card, but decided against it.  So, they were added to the inside.  They are two-step stamps, so the inside of the succulent is stamped in Mint Macaron and the outside stamp is Old Olive.

A complete list of supplies and card stock cuts in inches will be at the end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! So Very Much Thank You

I used the So Very Much stamp set, which is FRE during Sale-A-Bration, for my CAS card for today.  I also used the Blooms & Wishes stamp set to add some flowers to my design.

so Very Much

I really love the large font on the Thank You sentiment, and because of its size, you don’t really need to add much else to make a great statement!  I started with Whisper White as my base and added a panel of Dapper Denin from the 2016-2018 In Color DSP stack with liquid glue.

So Very Much

I inked up the Thank You sentiment from So Very Much, in  Dapper Denim and stamped it in the center of my Whisper White panel.   Next, I stamped two of the flowers from Blooms & Wishes in Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo in the right corner.  The stem was stamped in Emerald Envy.  So Very Much was also stamped in Dapper Denim.and die cut using the banner die from the Succulent Framelits Dies.  In Color Enamel Shapes were added to the flower centers and above the small sentiment.  Finally, I adhered the art panel to a panel of Dapper Denim and popped them onto the front with dimensionals.  And, there you have it a quick, clean and simple thank you card!

Stampin’ Up! products used to create my So Very Much thank you card for today

Big Shot

$110.00

Thanks for stopping by today, come back tomorrow for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!

Stampin’ Up! Special Reason Thank You

I used the Stampin’ Up! Special Reason Bundle and the All Things Thanks stamp set to create my card for today.

Special Reason

The inspiration for the card design is from CAS(E) this Sketch #205.  I hope you’ll check out the other cards there and try your hand at the sketch, too.

CTS #205

I started with a panel of Crumb Cake card stock and stamped You’re The Best from All Things Thanks in Versa Mark ink.  Then I sprinkled the sentiment with White Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  Once it had cooled, I adhered it to my Island Indigo card stock base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Special Reason

Next, I pulled out the large flower die from the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies and cut my Whisper White panel.  Then, I die cut the stem and leaves also from that die set, in Mint Macaron card stock.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a panel of Blooms and Bliss DSP with liquid glue, then adhered both of those panels to a slightly larger panel of Mint Macaron card stock.  The stem and leaves were glued down with a little of the stem extending over the edge.  I tied a strand of Linen Thread around all 3 layers and then popped that art panel onto the front of the card with dimensionals.

Special Reason

For the inside of the card, I stamped another sentiment from All Things Thanks in Versa Mark ink and added White Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I really wanted to stamp one of the  flower images from Special Reason, so I decided to add a small flower to the inside.

Special Reason

To make it look mottled like the flower on the front, I stamped it first in Mint Macaron ink, then pulled out my blender pen and added some Island Indigo ink all over it.  The leaves are dies from Stylish Stems die cut in Mint Macaron.

If you do not have the Special Reason Bundle, I encourage you to get it, you will love it!  It’s found on page 42 of the Occasions Catalog.  If you have not seen the YouTube video on the framelits, HERE it is for you to view.

You will find a complete list of products as well as card stock cuts in inches at the end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! All Things Thanks

I’m sharing a card today using the All Things Thanks stamp set from the upcoming Occasions Catalog, available on January 4th.

All Things Thanks

I started with a panel of Presents & Pinecones DSP (on sale now) and adhered it to a panel of Mint Macaron card stock with glue. Next, I cut a length of Mint Macaron Sheer Linen Ribbon and wrapped it around those 2 panels, securing it to the back with some scotch tape.  Then, I popped it onto my Whisper White note card with dimensionals.

All things Thanks

I pulled out my Weather Together stamp set and stamped the gift package image in Basic Black Archival ink onto a scrap of Whisper White Thick card stock.  Then, I colored in the bow and the polka dots with Mint Macaron and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Markers.  The package was fussy cut using my Paper Snips.  I inked up the sentiment from All Things Thanks in Cherry Cobbler ink and stamped it onto a panel of Whisper White card stock.

All Things Thanks

The sentiment panel was cut using an oval Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and framed with a little larger scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits.Dies. For this scalloped oval, I used another panel of the Presents & Pinecones DSP.   I looped some Silver Metallic Thread around dimensionals that were placed on the front before adding the sentiment.  Next, I added some dimensionals to the sentiment panel and popped it onto the front of the card.  Finally I added a little bling with the stars and circles from the Hello December 2016 Hello Life Accessory Pack.

All Things Thanks can be found on page 35 of the new Occasions catalog.  Don’t have your own catalog?  Please contact me for one.

You will find the card stock cuts and products used for my card today at the end of the post.

Thoughtful Branches Thank You Cards

Today’s share is from Thoughtful Branches, the limited time offer stamp set bundle from Stampin’ Up!  I made two Thoughtful Branches Thank You cards to show you how versatile this set is.  I love it that you can use it for any season!

Thoughtful Branches Thank You Cards

For the fall Thoughtful Branches Thank You card, I chose to use the leaf images and stamped them in Cajun Craze, Soft Suede and Crushed Curry on a panel of Whisper White.  The bottom two leaves were die cut with the Beautiful Branches Thinlets and popped onto the front with dimensionals.  The sentiment is also from Thoughtful Branches and is stamped in Soft Suede ink.

Thoughtful Branches Thank You Card

I wrapped a length of Linen Thread around the stem of the leaf and tied a bow.  My art panel is framed with a panel of Cajun Craze and then popped onto the note card front with dimensionals.   I left the inside blank for plenty of room for a note to be written.

My spring/summer Thoughtful Branches Thank You card uses one of the other images from the stamp set.  This image may be used for the trees, but I am using it as the flower heads.  My flower stems are actually the ground images!

Thoughtful Branches Thank You card

I used Blushing Bride and Wisteria Wonder for the “flower heads”  and used Wild Wasabi for the “stems” and the leaves.  I stamped the thank you sentiment from Thoughtful Branches in Wisteria Wonder and die cut it with a die from the Rose Garden Thinlets.

Both of these went together so quickly!   If you are considering purchasing this stamp set bundle, don’t delay.  I am thinking a set of Thoughtful Branches Thank You Cards would make a wonderful gift for someone, and the holidays are approaching us very soon!
