Stampin’ Up! Sealed With Love for the Happy Stampers

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Welcome to this week’s Happy Stamper’s Blog Hop.  I’m sharing the Sealed With Love Bundle with you today.

Sealed

This week, we are working with a sketch.  If you’re just starting out here, I hope you’ll hop around to see what all of the other team members have created, too.

Sealed

I started by stamping the swoosh image from Sealed With Love in Tempting Turquoise onto a panel of Whisper White, using the stamping off method.  Then, I stamped the Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment, also from Sealed With Love, in Real Red.  I pulled out my Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies and cut out a heart, then cut out a little larger heart in Tempting Turquoise to frame it.

Sealed

Two hearts and an arrow were die cut using the Love Note Framelits Dies from Red Glimmer Paper.  My floral heart was stamped with one of the heart images from Sealed with Love and also die cut with the framelits dies.  Before attaching my sentiment hearts, I attached a piece of one of the new Lace Doilies to the back.  These doilies are really great because one side is Whisper White and the opposite side is Very Vanilla.  The card base is Tempting Turquoise, then a layer of Red Glimmer followed by another layer of Tempting Turquoise, and finally a layer of the Sending Love DSP,  which is part of the Sending Love Suite of products found on pages 14 & 15 of the new 2017 Occasions catalog.

Sealed

For the inside of my card, I stamped several of the images from the Sealed With Love stamp set in Real Red ink all around a panel of Whisper White.  Then, I created that adorable little envelope in Tempting Turquoise with my Love Notes Framelits Dies. I slipped in a little note which was also stamped and then die cut and added a Real Red Enamel Shape to the envelope.

Sealed

Don’t you just love this fun bundle for Valentine’s Day, or anytime you want to send a special little love note to someone?  Purchase the bundle and save 10% and add the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack and earn one FREE item in the Sale-a-Bration catalog, now through March 31st.  Yippee!!

A complete list of products used and card stock cuts are at the end of my post.  Now, click on the arrow below and check out what Kristi has created for us today.

Hey, Chick Sneak Peek for the Happy Stampers

Hey Chick

I’m sharing a sneak peek of Hey, Chick from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-Bration catalog for our blog hop today!  And, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!  My card is not your typical card for Thanksgiving, but I thought a whimsical thank you would be fun for a change.  What do you think?

Hey, Chick

Here is our sketch, I made mine vertical instead of horizontal.  And, very CAS, too!

Hey, Chick

I started by stamping the chicken image from Hey, Chick, in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored it in with my Stampin’ Write markers and die cut it with one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. Then, I framed that panel with a Real Red scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies.

Hey, Chick

Next, I stamped the sentiment in Versa Mark ink and sprinkled White Embossing Powder onto a Basic Black panel.  It was heat embossed and then die cut with a the banner die from the Gift Card Envelope and Trims Framelits Dies.  For the stick, I die cut a shape from the Everyday Jars Framelits Dies in Real Red.  I layered a panel of Pop of Pink DSP onto a panel of Basic Black and then wrapped a length of Burlap Ribbon around them before popping the panel onto the Real Red card stock base with dimensionals.

Hey, Chick

For the inside, I chose a sentiment from the All Things Thanks stamp set (available January 4th), and stamped it in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  The little heart is a Real Red Enamel Shape. Once Sale-a-Bration begins, you can get Hey, Chick for free!  I think you will love this set.  Here is a look at both sets:

Hey, Chick

Now, on to the rest of the Hop, and thanks again for sharing your Thanksgiving with us!!

Hang Your Stocking for the Happy Stampers

Hang Your Stocking for Happy Stampers Blog Hop

It’s not long until you will need to Hang Your Stocking!  Can you believe how close we are to Christmas?  Today we have a color challenge using Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla, perfect for the holidays!  So, I decided to use the Hang Your Stocking Bundle.  What a great set of stamps and Thinlets Dies!  (And, the stamps are on sale right now!)

Our colors:

Happy Stampers color challenge

Here is what I created today:

Hang Your Stocking

My Very Vanilla panel was dry embossed with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF). then I attached some strips of Warmth & Cheer DSP with liquid glue.  I created two stockings using Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green DSP with the Christmas Stocking Thinlets Dies.  Then, I stamped the holly images from Hang Your Stocking in Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green.  They were die cut with the same thinlets dies and bows added with the Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Trio pack.

Hang Your stocking

Next, I cut out the Noel in Cherry Cobbler and attached it to the front panel with little dabs of liquid glue.  Then, Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to the centers of the stockings before I popped them onto the front with dimensionals.  When I die cut the Very Vanilla part of the stockings, I wound up with a snowflake image, so I added another rhinestone to it and added it to the front with a small piece of dimensional.  The Very Vanilla panel was then added to the Cherry Cobbler base with dimensionals.

Hang your stocking

The inside Very Vanilla panel was stamped with a sentiment from Hang Your Stocking in Cherry Cobbler ink.  I used the extra snowflake on the inside, too, but attached it with glue.  My little Christmas trees are die cut from the Christmas Stocking Thinlets Dies and are also attached with liquid glue.

Card stock cuts in inches and products used are at the end of the post.

Wonderful Year for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Welcome to our Happy Stampers Blog Hop.  I am sharing a card using Wonderful Year from Stampin’ Up!  Wonderful Year has two very large sentiments that create quite a statement for your Christmas cards this year.

Here is our color challenge for this week:

wonderful for Happy Stampers

wonderful Year

I began by inking up the Wishing You a Joyful Christmas stamp from Wonderful Year in Cherry Cobbler ink.  Before stamping, I used a baby wipe to clean off the bough and berry image on either side of the sentiment.   Then, I used my Emerald Envy Stampin’ Write marker to color them in, huffed all over the ink and stamped onto a square panel of Whisper White card stock.  I added two Cherry Cobbler Enamel Shapes where the berries would be.  A frame of Emerald Envy card stock was adhered to the sentiiment panel with liquid glue.

Wonderful Year

I cut a narrow panel from Presents & Pinecones DSP (part of the buy 3 get 1 free sale going on right now), and glued it to a panel of Emerald Envy card stock (striped) from the 2016-2018 In color Designer Series Paper Stacks.  That panel was then glued to a little larger panel of Emerald Envy card stock before popping it onto the Mint Macaron card stock base with dimensionals.  Using the small bow from the Pretty Pines Thinlets Dies, I die cut three bows in Cherry Cobbler.  Those three are glued together with tiny dots of liquid glue.

I cut a length of Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine and pulled one end through the Holly Christmas Trinket, wrapped it around the loops of the bow, tied a knot and trimmed off the ends.  A couple of glue dots were added to the back to secure it to the front of the sentiment panel, then the panel added to the front of the card with dimensionals.

Wonderful Year

The inside Whisper White panel is stamped with another of the sentiments from Wonderful Year in Cherry Cobbler and Emerald Envy inks.  I used another panel of the Emerald Envy In Colors DSP as a frame for the sentiment panel, and again glued them with liquid glue.

Card stock cuts in inches and products used will be at the end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! Paisleys & Posies Thankful Card for the Happy Stampers

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

I am using Paisleys & Posies from Stampin’ Up! for my share for the Happy Stampers Hop today.  I think the Paisley Framelits Dies are just awesome, too. Bundle Paisleys & Posies and Paisley Framelits and save 10%.

We have a sketch to work with this week, why not try your hand at it, too?

Happy Stampers Sketch challenge

I made my card horizontal rather than vertical:

Paisleys & posies

I started with the beautifully patterned Petals & Paisleys Designer Series Paper in Rich Razzleberry.  It was framed with a little larger panel of Mint Macaron and adhered to it with liquid glue.  Next, I die cut the Gold Foil images from the Paisley Framelits Dies.

Paisleys & Posies

I cut a strip of Mint Macaron Cardstock and punched one end with my Banner Triple Punch.  I inked up Thankful-Grateful-Blessed from the Paisleys & Posies stamp set in Versa Mark ink, sprinkled it with Gold Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I decided where I wanted the Paisley cut outs to go and grouped them with a little Gold 1./4″ Natural Trim and a bow of Gold Baker’s Twine.  I used some glue dots to hold them together and glued them to the banner.

Paisleys & Posies

Both the banner, and the DSP panel were popped onto the Rich Razzleberry Cardstock base with dimensionals.

Paisleys & Posies

I stamped some of the Paisley images from Paisleys & Posies on the Very Vanilla Cardstock with Rich Razzleberry ink.  Then, I added the sentiment from the same set with Versa Mark ink and Gold Emboss Powder.

A complete list of the products and card stock cuts are at the end of my post.

Candy Cane Christmas for the Happy Stampers

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

It’s a Candy Cane Christmas for the Happy Stampers Color Challenge today.  I love the colors we are working with, they are just perfect for a Christmas card.

Happy Stampers color challengey

Here is my card:
stampin-up-candy-cane-christmas-cardiology-by-jari-002

This card is really quick and easy!  I started by stamping the images from Candy Cane Christmas onto a panel of Whisper White Cardstock, using, you guessed it, our color challenge colors: Real Red, Crumb Cake and Early Expresso.  This art panel was then adhered to a panel of Crumb Cake Cardstock with liquid glue.  I cut a panel from Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper to add to the left side.

Candy Cane

Next, I stamped a sentiment from Candy Cane Christmas, using Early Expresso ink on a panel of Whisper White. It is die cut with a Layering Circles die and framed with three other circles using Early Expresso, Crumb Cake and Real Red Cardstock.  They were adhered with liquid glue and popped onto the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The right lower corner of the card seemed a little to bare, so I stamped a gingerbread boy with my Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set in Early Expresso onto a panel of Whisper White Thick cardstock.  He was punched out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.  I added a candy cane that I fussy cut with my Paper Snips to his arm with liquid glue and popped him onto the front with a couple of dimensionals.

candy cane

Then, this whole art panel was popped onto the Real Red Cardstock base with dimensionals.  And now, the inside:

candy cane

This sentiment is from Suite Seasons.  Some of the font is similar to the front of the card, so I thought it would work perfectly.  It is stamped in Early Expresso ink.  I finished the bottom of the panel with a length of the gumdrop patterned Candy Cane Lane Designer Washi Tape.

Christmas Pines for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

The Happy Stampers are back again, and I am posting a Christmas card using the Christmas Pines stamp set and the Pretty Pines Thinlets Dies. This is a wonderful set to bundle and save 10%.  There are 22 photopolymer stamps and 13 dies.  This bundle does not disappoint!

Christmas

And, if you follow us every week, you know it is a sketch challenge this week:
Happy Stampers sketch challenge

Have you started your Christmas cards yet?  I am so happy that I’ve been making them all along so that there is not a mad rush as we get closer to the holiday!  If you haven’t ordered the Christmas Pines bundle, you are really missing out.  I am in love with the pine cone die.  Doesn’t it look cool with this Copper Foil?

Christmas

The sentiment is also in the Christmas Pines stamp set.  I colored it with my Cherry Cobbler and Emerald Envy Stampin’ Write Markers before stamping it onto the Whisper White.  Notice I also used the new Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper.  This paper can also be sponged to highlight the raised images.

Here is how I finished the inside:

Christmas

I stamped the pine bough stamp in Emerald Envy, then placed a couple of the bough die cuts from the Pretty Pines Thinlets dies on top.  I used liquid glue to adhere them.

Stampin’ Up! products used and card stock cuts will be at the end of my post.

Perfect colors for some Spooky Fun!

Spooky Fun

I decided to make 3 treat bags for one installment of grandchildren- I need to make 5 more very soon!  I used my Mini Treat Bags Thinlets dies for the bags, the tree die from the Thoughtful Branches set (order soon before it is gone),  plus the Spooky Fun stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.

I think they are really cute, but kids will like them much more like this:

I’ll give more details plus products used at the end of my post

Stampin’ Up! Jolly Friends for the Happy Stampers

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Hi, and welcome to another Happy Stampers Blog Hop!  My share for today is using the Jolly Friends stamp set from the new Stampin’ Up!  Holiday Catalog   Just a few more days and you will be able to order all of the new goodies.  I hope you have received your new catalog so that you can make your list.

Our challenge today was to create a project using these colors:

Happy Stampers Jolly Friends

I was determined to use one of my new holiday stamp sets and Jolly Friends seemed to catch my eye.  But, you say, these are not really holiday colors!  Well, maybe I am stretching my imagination a little, but that is part of the fun, right?!

What do you  think?

JollFriendsy

I started by building my elf and his hat and scarf from Jolly Friends.  First I stamped the elf face in Soft Suede onto Whisper White Thick card stock, then added some pink to his cheeks using Pink Pirouette and a Q-tip.  Then, I fussy cut it out using my paper snips.  Next, I stamped the scarf, hat pieces and the bell.  I used Old Olive ink on the scarf and hat pieces and then filled in the spaces with my Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Write Marker.  The bell is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink.  I pulled out my Jolly Hat Builder Punch (available as a bundle to save !0% with this stamp set) and punched out the hat pieces.

Jolly Friends

For the Crumb Cake panel, I stamped the “snow” images from Jolly Friends in Versa Mark and heat embossed them with White Embossing Powder.  Next, I created the banner sentiment using one of the sentiments from Cookie-Cutter Christmas, another new stamp set in the Holiday Catalog.  It is stamped in Old Olive ink on a panel of Whisper White and punched with the Duet Banner Punch.  I also punched one in Bermuda Bay and one in Old Olive, cut them in half and adhered them to the White one with glue.

Jolly Friends

I popped my elf parts onto the front with dimensionals, added the banner sentiment with dimensionals and then added some Bermuda Bay sequins with glue dots.  This whole panel was then ready to be added to the Bermuda Bay card base (with dimensionals) that is layered with a panel of Berumda Bay from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stacks.

Jolly Friends

For the inside, I chose a sentiment from Suite Seasons, another new set found in the Holiday Catalog, and stamped it in Bermuda Bay ink.

Stampin’ Up! products used in my card will be listed at the end of my post.  But now, it’s time to see what beautiful creation Kristi has for us today!

Seaside Shore for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

It’s Thursday, and we’re back for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop!  Welcome to another color challenge. I’m sharing Seaside Shore from Stampin’ Up! this week.   Here are the colors we’re all using, aren’t they lovely together?

Happy Stampers Color Challenge

Here is my Seaside Shore card:

Seaside Shore

I pulled out my By the Shore Designer Series Paper and found all of the colors for our challenge this week, so I got busy deciding just which of the papers to use!  I love all of them in this grouping, so it took a while.  I also pulled out the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder(TIEF for short) and did some dry embossing on the two patterned pieces.

Seaside Shore

My anchor and sentiment banner from Seaside Shore, were stamped in Dapper Denim onto Very Vanilla card stock and both fussy cut with Paper Snips  The fish is also from Seaside Shore and stamped in Calypso Coral on Very Vanilla and fussy cut.  Behind the banner I added some 5/8″ Mini Striped Mint Macaron ribbon, and also used the Calypso Coral Thick Baker’s Twine for the anchor line.
Seaside Shore

For the inside, I chose the other sentiment from Seaside Shore and then stamped a few of the starfish in Mint Macaron and Calypso Coral inks.

A list of the products used in making my card today will be at the end of my post.

Now, hop on over to see what Kristi has created for us today.
