Stampin’ Up! Friendly Wishes

Happy Friday!  So glad you stopped by.  My share for you today is from the Friendly Wishes stamp set.

Friendly WishesThe inspiration for the card layout is from Fab Friday #85.  Make sure you head over there and check out all of the other cards and play along, too!

Fab Friday Logos-085

I started by layering a panel of Birthday Bouquet DSP onto my Mossy Meadow card base with MP liquid glue.  Then, I punched 2 banners in coordinating Birthday Bouquet DSP with my Banner Triple punch.

Friendly Wishes

Before adding the banners to the front, I cut a piece of Tea Lace Doily and glued it just below where I wanted to place the banners. The sentiment, from Friendly Wishes, was stamped in Blushing Bride onto Whisper White and cut out with the second to the smallest label from Deco Labels Collection Framelits.  I stamped that same sentiment in Mossy Meadow and fussy cut the word YOU and glued it over the Blushing Bride YOU. Both labels are popped up with dimensionals to give the card some depth. I punched a heart with the Itty Bitty Accents Heart punch and added an Iced Rhinestone for some bling!

Friendly Wishes

If you look closely, you will notice I used another stamp from Friendly Wishes to decorate the inside.  The heart image goes all along the bottom of the Whisper White panel and is stamped in Blushing Bride.  And the finished product with the envelope:

If you are in need of a quick and easy card, this one fills the bill.  For the background, I layered a panel of Love Blossoms DSP onto a little larger panel of Garden Green, then attached that to the Blushing Bride card base with multipurpose liquid glue.

The sentiment, from Stampin’ Up! Friendly Wishes, was stamped in Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride, and Rose Red onto a panel of Whisper White using my Stamp-a-ma-jig.  Boy is that a life saver!  I framed the sentiment panel with a panel of Rose Red using Multipurpose Liquid glue to attach them, then popped it onto the base with Dimensionals.

Friendly Wishes by Cardiology by JariThe banner, from the new Bloomin’ Love stamp set, was stamped in Garden Green, and cut out using the banner die from the wonderful new Large Numbers Framelits Dies.  In case you did not realize it, this can be bundled with the Number of Years stamp set for a great $avings deal and will earn you Free items from the Sale-a-Bration sale going on right now at Stampin’ Up! I stamped Be Mine, also from the Bloomin’ Love stamp set, in Rose Red ink. I decided I needed a little bling, so I punched out a small heart of Blushing Bride glimmer paper using my Itty Bitty heart Accents punch.  It and the banner are popped onto the front with Dimensionals.

Friendly Wishes by Cardiology by JariFor the inside, I chose another sentiment from Bloomin’ Love, which I stamped in Rose Red onto a panel of Whisper White, then I added two more hearts and a bottom border with a left over strip of the DSP I used on the front.
