Happy Inkin’ Thursday!  I created a congratulations card from the So In Love Bundle from Stampin’ Up!

Stampin' Up! So In Love Bundle Congratualtions by Cardiology by Jari

We have a color challenge this week:

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

I am more of a Brights Collection than Subtles Collection stamper, but this was a fun challenge this week!  I started with a panel of Falling In Love DSP and adhered it to a panel of Soft Sky card stock. Then, I popped that onto the Very Vanilla card stock base with Dimensionals.

Next, I cut a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and framed it with a little larger panel of Soft Sky card stock and set it aside.  I pulled out the floral die from the So Detailed Thinlets and die cut a panel of Very Vanilla.  Then, I stamped the center oval with the matching stamp from So In Love with Sahara Sand Ink.  I pulled out my Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride, Soft Sky ink pads and some Sponge Daubers and went to work lightly coloring some of the flowers and leaves in the cut out.  Once I was happy with the coloring, I adhered the die cut panel to the Very Vanilla/Soft Sky panel.

I stamped Congratulations in Sahara Sand ink onto my banner and then sponged the edges a little with more Sahara Sand ink.  Before adhering it to the art panel, I cut a length of Blushing Bride Stitched Satin Ribbon, notched the ends and adhered it with Tear & Tape Adhesive.  A Lace Doily was adhered to the front panel, then I popped the art panel on with Dimensionals, and finally added a Falling In Love Embellishment button with glue dots.

Since this was a special anniversary, I added the numbers from the Large Numbers Framelits dies that I cut out with the same Falling In Love DSP as I had used on the front of the card.

All of the products, including the card stock cuts I used for my congratulations card, will be at the end of my post.

Now, time to hop some more to see what Kristi has for us today.  Enjoy!
