Stampin’ Up! Merry Little Labels for Happy Inkin’ Thursday

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Merry Little Labels stamp set to create the card I am sharing for our sketch challenge this week.

Stampin' Up! Merry Little Labels-CardiologybyJari

If you are looking for a quick and easy Christmas card, look no further than the Merry Little Labels stamp set!  I also purchased this set as a bundle with the Everyday Label Punch and saved 10%.  The punch also works with the Labels to Love stamp set, and you’ll see a little farther down, I enlisted that set in this card, too!

I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink, then wiped off the holly leaves with a baby wipe and re-inked them with my Garden Green Stampin’ Write marker.  Stampin' Up! Merry Little Labels-CardiologybyJari

I used the die from the Swirly Snowflake Thinlets as a divider between the two panels of Quilted Chrismas DSP.  The Foil Snowflake was adhered with liquid glue to the card front, then a length of the Quilted Christmas 1/4″ Ribbon was added with some glue dots.  Once the ribbon was adhered, I added the sentiment circles with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Merry Little Lables-CardiologybyJari

The inside sentiment is one from the Labels to Love stamp set and I used the ink to rubber method to stamp it with my Real Red and Garden Green Stampin’ Write Markers.  The two Christmas trees are die cut in Garden Green using the Card Front Builder Thinlets Dies.  If you look closely you will see that I used my Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to make them sparkle a little.  Enjoy!

Card stock cuts and project supplies will be found at the end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! Beachy Little Christmas CAS Card

I used the Beachy Little Christmas stamp set to create a CAS card for today.  The inspiration for the clean and simple design is from the CAS on Friday Challenge #122.

Stampin' Up! Beachy Little Christmas-CardiologybyJari

I started by stamping the the sand and water with a stamp from the Sheltering Tree set in Sahara Sand and Pool Party on a panel of Whisper White.  Next, I stamped the palm tree from Beachy Little Christmas in Basic Black ink and colored it in with Sahara Sand, Real Red, Pear Pizzaz and Pool Party Stampin’ Write Markers.  The art panel was then adhered to a panel of Pool Party and popped onto the Whisper White Thick card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Beachy Little Christmas-CardiologybyJari

The little beach hut was stamped in Basic Black Archival ink onto a panel of Whisper White Thick card stock.  I used my Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends markers to color it in, then fussy cut it out with my Paper Snips.  The wreath and the swirl on the surfboard were colored in with Stampin’ Write Markers, then I popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A shell was stamped in Basic Black Archival ink, colored in with a Sahara Sand marker and fussy cut out, then added with a dimensional. The right side of the card looked a little bare, so I added a cloud from the Lift Me Up stamp set and Up & Away Thinlets Dies.

Stampin' Up! Beachy Little Christmas-CardiologybyJari

I couldn’t resist that cute little crab for the inside of the card.  It was also stamped in Basic Black Archival ink and colored in with Real Red and Pear Pizzaz Stampin’ Write Markers.  This stamp set retires with the 2017 Occasions Catalog on January 2nd, and if you are a sand and sea lover like me, you really need to add this one to your collection.  It can be used all year round without the sentiments.  Enjoy!

Important Update on the Stamparatus!

Stamparatus

The results are in! The first Stamparatus reservation window reached its maximum number of reservations in just 15 minutes, which provided us with some very important information: You LOVE this new stamping tool! We couldn’t be more thrilled; in fact, your response was so amazing that we’ve decided to make some important adjustments to the reservation process.

As was previously announced, the second reservation window will remain open from December 5–30; however, during this reservation period we will take as many orders as we receive and not close the window until December 30. So whether the total number of reservations is 100 or 100,000, the window will stay open!

Please note the following changes:
  • Beginning March 19, we will ship Stamparatuses in the order the reservations were received (first in, first out) and continue through the next few months and beyond as product arrives in our warehouse. Because shipment dates are based on manufacturing lead times, not all of the reservations made during the December 5–30 window will ship on March 19 (as was previously announced).
  • In order to accommodate demand, limits have changed as follows:
    • One reservation per customer.
    • Because we are not limiting the maximum number of reservations for the second window, we will not offer a third window. This is the last chance for you to reserve a Stamparatus before it becomes available in the 2018-2019 annual catalog.

Please note what has not changed:

  • The reservation window will open at 2:00 PM (MT) on December 5.

We can’t wait for you to get your hands on your very own Stamparatus and look forward to seeing the projects you’ll make with this incredible stamping tool.

Here is a helpful tutorial on how to order your Stamparatus on the 5th (That is tomorrow!!!)

Stampin’ Up! Party Pandas for Happy Inkin’ Thursday

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

It’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday and I used the Party Pandas stamp set from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration flyer and Watercolor Christmas to create a fun Christmas card for our color challenge today.

Stampin' Up! Party Pandas-CardiologybyJari

The inspiration for my sketch is from the Paper Players Challenge #372

I am in love with this stamp set, it is so cute!  And it is FREE during Sale-A-Bration, which begins January 3rd.  I stamped the panda in Basic Black Archival ink and fussy cut it out with Paper Snips, then colored in the heart with a Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from Watercolor Christmas in Cherry Cobbler ink and used the Layering Ovals Framelits to cut it out.  A scalloped oval was used as a mat in Cherry Cobbler card stock.

Stampin' Up! Party Pandas-CardiologybyJari

I adhered the Merry Little Christmas DSP (tree pattern) to a panel of Basic Black card stock with liquid glue.  The plaid panel of Merry Little Christmas DSP was matted to a narrow panel of Basic Black, then adhered to the larger panel with liquid glue.  A length of Cherry Cobbler 1/4″ Double Stitched Ribbon was adhered with Tear & Tape Adhesive and that panel was popped onto the Old Olive card stock base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A bow was created with Old Olive Bakers Twine and secured to the front with a Glue Dot.  Finally, I popped the panda and sentiment panel onto the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added one Metallic Enamel Shape heart to complete the front.

Carols of Christmas for Happy Inkin’ Thursday

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thanksgiving, I hope you are enjoying friends and family today!  Thanks for taking some time out of your busy schedule to join us for Happy Inkin’ Thursday.  I used the Carols of Christmas stamp set to create my card for our sketch challenge.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas

I started with a panel from the Merry Little Christmas DSP and adhered it to a panel of Basic Black card stock with liquid glue.  Then, I popped that panel onto the Cherry Cobbler card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Next, I stamped the sentiment from Carols of Christmas in Cherry Cobbler ink onto a Whisper White panel.  I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the accent stamp and stamped it in Old Olive ink above and below the sentiment.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas-Cardiology by Jari

Carols of Christmas comes in a bundle, so I stamped the holly leaves and berries using the stamp to rubber method with an Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write marker and die cut them with the corresponding die from the Card Front Builder Thinlets.  They were adhered with liquid glue, then the art panel was adhered to a slightly larger panel of Cherry Cobbler.  I created a bow with the Cherry Cobbler 1/4″ Double Stitched Ribbon, adhered it with Glue Dots, then popped the sentiment panel onto the card front with more dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas-Cardiology by Jari

For the inside of my card, I chose a sentiment and image from Merry Mistletoe, stamping the sentiment in Basic Black Archival ink, and using the ink to rubber method for the Mistletoe.  I used the Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write markers to color the image, then huffed on it before stamping onto the Whisper White panel.  Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Hearts Come Home for Christmas

I used the Hearts Come Home stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create another Christmas card for today.

Stampin' Up! Hearts Come Home-Cardiology by Jari

The inspiration for the sketch is from Hand Stamped Sentiments #272

HSS #272

And I’m also playing with the Just Add Ink Challenge, #386.

My R is ribbon.  Just Add Ink #386

I layered some plaid from the Christmas Around the World DSP onto a panel of Basic Black with liquid glue, then popped that panel onto the Old Olive card stock base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Hearts Come Home-Cardiology by Jari

Next, I stamped the house images from Hearts Come Home across the top of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped two trees and fussy cut them, then popped them in between the houses with dimensionals.  I used the ink to rubber method to stamp the sentiment in the lower right corner with my Real Red and Basic Black Stampin’ Write Markers.  The art panel was then adhered to a panel of Basic Black and I used some of the Quilted Christmas ribbon to tie a bow, then popped it onto the card front with dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Hearts Come Home-Cardiology by Jari

The inside sentiment can also be found in the Hearts Come Home set and was stamped in Real Red.  I also stamped the Christmas tree image in Old Olive and added one Enamel Shapes heart to the other side. Enjoy!

Seasonal Lantern Bundle for Happy Inkin’ Thursday

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Seasonal Lantern Bundle from Stampin’ Up! for the card I am sharing with you today.  We have a color challenge this week.

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Stampin' Up! Seasonal Lantern-Cardiology by Jari

My card base is Pool Party card stock, and the next layer is a panel of Quilted Christmas DSP matted to a panel of Real Red card stock and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.   Next, I matted a panel of Christmas Around the World (Pool Party/snow) to a panel of Pool Party card stock and adhered it to the center of the card with Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Seasonal Lantern Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

Then, I stamped the lantern, candle, bow and greenery in Basic Black Archival ink and die cut them all with the Lantern Builder Framelits Dies.  I used my Pool Party, Emerald Envy, Crushed Curry, and Real Red Stampin’ Write Markers to color in all of the die cut images.  The candle was dry fitted into the lantern, then I stamped the candle flame above where the candle would be glued down in Crushed Curry ink.  The sentiment is one from the Seasonal Lantern stamp set and stamped in Basic Black Archival ink onto Whisper White.  I used my Paper Snips to notch either end, attached part of a Foil Snowflake with Liquid Glue, then added Stampin’ Dimensionals and popped it onto the narrow front panel.  Finally, the lantern was adorned with the greenery and bow, and then popped onto the front with more dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Seasonal Lantern Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

The inside Whisper White panel was stamped with a sentiment from the Labels to Love stamp set.  Then, I stamped the floral image from Seasonal Lantern in Basic Black Archival ink, let it dry and then colored it in with Emerald Envy and Real Red Stampin’ Write Markers.  Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Good Tidings for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Hop

Amy's Inkin' Krew Team Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Good Tidings stamp set to create a card for our Merry Christmas themed blog hop for this month.

Stampin' Up! Good Tidings-Cardiology by Jari

Good Tidings is such a beautiful stamp set with an awesome focal sentiment, don’t you think?  One of my team members featured this stamp set in a recent blog hop we did together and her colors inspired me when I was creating this card.  See Kristi’s card HERE.

I love the green, black and red colors Stampin’ Up! chose for Christmas cards this year.  Stamp the holly leaf solid image in Old Olive, then stamp the second detail stamp in Basic Black.  Stamp the solid berries in Real Red, then stamp the second berry image on top in Cherry Cobbler.  The stem was stamped in Early Expresso for both of the images, then I fussy cut the whole thing out with Paper Snips.  Create the smaller holly image using the same basic colors.

(Hint:  stamp onto Whisper White Thick card stock)

Stampin' Up! Good Tidings-Cardiology by Jari

A panel of the Merry Music Specialty DSP was adhered to the front of my Whisper White Thick card stock base.  The largest sentiment from Good Tidings was stamped in Basic Black Archival ink onto a panel of Whisper White, then  the panel was adhered to the front with liquid glue.  I cut one of the Foil Snowflakes in half and also added it with liquid glue.  The large holly image was popped on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A bow was then created with some of the Old Olive 1/8″ sheer ribbon, Silver Sequin Trim and a small length of Black Baker’s Twine and adhered with a glue dot.

Stampin' Up! Good Tidings-Cardiology by Jari

The inside Whisper White panel was stamped with the smaller sentiment from Good Tidings in Basic Black, then another holly with berries was stamped directly above the sentiment.  Enjoy!

Now, for more of the hop.  We hope you enjoy all of your stops today!

Snowflake Sentiments Bundle for Happy Inkin’ Thursday

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, welcome to our hop.  I used the Snowflake Sentiments Bundle to create the Christmas card I am sharing today.

Here is our sketch for this week:

Happy Inkin' Thursday Sketch Snowflake Sentiments

Stampin' Up! Snowflake Sentiments-Cardiology by Jari

I started by cutting one of my Snowflake Sentiments stamps apart!  I knew that I wanted to stamp some small snowflakes onto my Whisper White panel, so I just cut one off the end of the three.  Then I inked it up with Soft Sky, stamped it off once on scrap paper, and onto the Whisper White.  This panel was adhered to the Silver Foil with liquid glue.

Next, I die cut a panel of Soft Sky with the pretty scalloped die from the Swirly Snowflake Thinlets.  I pulled out some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper for the snowflake die, running it through the Big Shot 5-6 times because of the thickness of that paper.  I still had to use a Paper Piercing Tool to get some of the center parts out of the cut outs!  I used liquid glue to adhere the snowflakes to the scalloped outline, then adhered the panel to the Whisper White art panel.  Then, I used my Paper Snips to trim off the sides to fit.

The sentiment is from the Star of Light stamp set and was heat embossed with Versa Mark ink and Silver Emboss Powder.  I used some sequins and Rhinestone Basic Jewels to add some sparkle.  The art panel was adhered to the Soft Sky card stock base.

The Whisper White panel was die cut on the bottom with another die from the Swirly Snowflake Thinlets.  The sentiment is from Snowflake Sentiments and heat embossed with Silver Emboss Powder.  Several snowflakes were die cut in Soft Sky and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and adhered with Glue Dots.  A Rhinestone Jewel was added to the center of each snowflake.  Enjoy!

On Stage Salt Lake City

Hello from Salt Lake City, Utah!  Today is the beginning of OnStage.  Yippee! I’ll be posting some pictures to share with you soon!

Stampin’ Up! Smitten Mittens Bundle

I’ve got a fun Christmas card for you today using the Smitten Mittens Bundle from Stampin’ Up!

Stampin' Up! Smitten Mittens-Cardiology by Jari

The sketch was inspired by the one for Freshly Made Sketches #311FMS #311

I started with two different patterns from the Quilted Christmas DSP and added a Whisper White mat to one and a Lemon Lime Twist to the other with Liquid Glue.  Then the panels were adhered with Liquid Glue.

I used the Many Mittens Framelits Dies to cut two Whisper White mittens and two Real Red mittens, then adhered them with Liquid Glue.  Next, I wrapped a double length of Whisper White Baker’s Twine around some of the Quilted Christmas Ribbon and tied a bow.  The ribbon was adhered to the back of the mittens with Glue Dots and then I adhered them to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The sentiment was stamped with Basic Black Archival ink and I used one of the dies that could be used for a mitten cuff to cut it out.

More of the ribbon was added to the bottom of my Whisper White panel by cutting a strip of Tear & Tape down the center horizontally, then to the ribbon.  The sentiment is another one from Smitten Mittens and stamped in Real Red ink.  Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Hearts Come Home

I used the Stampin’ Up! Hearts Come Home Bundle to create a Christmas card to share with you today.

Stampin' Up1 Hearts Come Home-Cardiology by Jari

My card design was inspired by the Stamp Ink Paper Sketch Challenge #123

Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #123

First, I dry embossed a panel of Whisper White using the Softly Falling embossing folder and adhered it to a panel of Basic Gray card stock.  Next, a banner was cut from the Christmas Around the World DSP using my Banner Triple Punch and adhered to the embossed panel with liquid glue.

Stampin' Up! Hearts Come Home-Cardiology by Jari

Using the Layering Squares Framelits, I die cut a plain square from another pattern of the Christmas Around the World DSP and a scalloped square from a panel of Silver Foil and adhered them with liquid glue.  I cut a panel of Whisper White card stock with one of the Hometown Greetings Edgelits Dies and trimmed it to fit the square.  It was adhered with liquid glue.  I stamped the sentiment in Versa Mark ink on a panel of Basic Gray, sprinkled it with White Emboss Powder and heated it till smooth and shiny.  I used the Banner Triple Punch to notch both ends and adhered it to the layered squares.  The large dry embossed panel was adhered to the Pool Party card stock base with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the art panel was added with more dimensionals.  One Metallic Enamel Shape star was added to finish the front.

Stampin' Up! Hearts Come Home-Cardiology by Jari

For the inside panel, I stamped another sentiment from Hearts Come Home in Basic Gray and added one Metallic Enamel shaped heart to the side.  At the bottom, added another grouping of houses from the Hometown Greetings Edgelits and stamped some smoke just above one of the chimneys.  Enjoy!
