I used the Merry Mistletoe stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create the Christmas card I am sharing with you today.
Merry Mistletoe is a new stamp set this year, but is found in the Annual Catalog. I by-passed it when the catalog came out last spring because I was not ready to think about Christmas cards! But, it is really a great set, and the Be Merry DSP is really a favorite of mine, too. The DSP is also included in the buy three get one free sale going on right now until the end of this month. Don’t miss out on this great sale!
The reindeer were stamped in Crumb Cake with the help of my Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement. I stamped the middle one first, then the others. Next, the sentiment was stamped in Cherry Cobbler right over the center reindeer. A panel of the Be Merry DSP was adhered to a panel of Whisper White, then a length of Garden Green 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon was adhered to the center with Tear & Tape Adhesive. The bow was then made and adhered with a Glue Dot.
I left the inside panel plain with just a strip of the Be Merry DSP adhered to the bottom.
For fun, I added a Cherry Cobbler Enamel Shape for a nose, one Metallic Enamel star, and stamped another reindeer on the envelope front.
This card is a snap to create, and I think you will also love the Merry Mistletoe set, too!
