Stampin’ Up! Labels to Love for Christmas

I used the Labels to Love stamp set from the upcoming 2017 Holiday Catalog for another sneak peek for you today.

Stampin' Up! Labels to Love-Cardiology by Jari

Do you also recognize the Card Front Builder Thinlets from the Carols of Christmas Bundle?  It is available now for purchase, but you’ll have to wait until September 1st to order the Labels to Love stamp set and the new Everyday Label Punch.  Here is a peek at the Labels to Love stamps:

Labels to Love

And here is the Merry Little Labels Bundle (this punch works with Labels to Love, also):

Merry Little Labels Bundle

First, I die cut the Whisper White panel with my Card Front Builder Thinlets, then dry embossed it with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  It was adhered to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock with liquid glue.

Stampin' Up! Labels to Love-Cardiology by Jari

I stamped the label image twice, once in Old Olive and once in Cherry Cobbler onto panels of Whisper White.  I punched them out with the Everyday Label Punch (available on Sept !st) and then used my Paper Snips to cut out the center of the Cherry Cobbler label.  It was then adhered to the center of the Old Olive label with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I wrapped a length of Cherry Cobbler 1/4″Double Stitched Ribbon around the center of the embossed panel and secured it with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

St1 Labels to Love-Cardiology by Jari

I popped the label onto the center front of the card with dimensionals, then die cut trees in Old Olive from the Card Front Builder Thinlets.  Two were added with liquid glue and one with dimensionals.  The deer image is also from the same thinlets dies and I used Soft Suede card stock for it.  I added him to the front with more dimensionals, then the whole art panel was added to the Whisper White card base with more dimensionals.  Three Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added for some bling.

Stampin' Up! Labels to Love Cardiology by Jari

I stamped the HO HO HO from the Oh What Fun stamp set in Cherry Cobbler.  The Labels to Love also has the same sentiment, but it runs vertically and I felt this card needed a horizontal sentiment.  More trees were adhered and then another length of the Cherry Cobbler ribbon added to the bottom of the panel.

A list of stamping supplies and card stock cuts will be at the end of the post.

Stampin’ Up! Beachy Little Christmas Sneak Peek

I used the Beachy Little Christmas stamp set from the upcoming 2017 Holiday Catalog, available on September 1st, to create the card I am sharing today.

Stampin' Up! Beachy Little Christmas-Cardiology by Jari

I started by stamping the palm trees from Beachy Little Christmas in Soft Suede ink onto a panel of Crumb Cake card stock.  Then, using a blender pen, I colored in all of the details.  Next, I stamped the beach hut and surfboard image in Soft Suede onto a panel of Whisper White and colored it in using my Blender Pen and inks.  Then, I used my Paper Snips and cut out the house and surfboard.  I adhered the art panel onto a panel of Bermuda Bay, then wrapped a length of Linen Thread around it a few times and secured it to the back with some tape. Next,  I adhered a panel of Real Red onto the Crumb Cake base, and then popped the art panel on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.   I stamped the sentiment, also from Beachy Little Christmas, and cut out a banner with a die from the Bunch of Banners Framelits.  Finally, the beach hut and banner were popped onto the front with dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Beach Little Christmas-Cardiology by Jari

The Crumb Cake inside panel was stamped with the other sentiment from the set in Soft Suede ink.  Then, I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig and lined up the three shell stamps across the bottom.  I matted it with a panel of Bermuda Bay and then adhered it to the base with liquid glue.

Stampin’ Up! Products needed to complete the Beachy Little Christmas Card:

Deck the Halls with Stampin’ Up! Carols of Christmas

I know, it’s a little early to deck the halls, but who can resist the new Carols of Christmas Bundle available now from Stampin’ Up!  Deck the Halls with Carols of Christmas-Cardiology by Jari

I started with a Basic Black card stock base and adhered a panel of the new Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper (available Sept. 1st) to the front.  The black and olive green plaid paper is really fun for Christmas cards, and I like the fact that it is not just for the holiday season.

Deck the Halls-Cardiology by Jari

I used the Card Front Builder Thinlets Dies (part of the Carols of Christmas Bundle) to create the Basic Black card stock frame. Using my Stamp-a-ma-jig and Versa Mark ink, I stamped Deck the Halls in the center of the frame and sprinkled it with White Emboss powder then heated it until smooth and shiny.  I repeated the stamping sequence with the design above the sentiment and also the flower below it.

The Basic Black frame was then adhered to another panel from the Merry Little Christmas DSP (available Sept 1st) with liquid glue.

Deck the Halls-Cardiology by Jari

A bow was punched from another panel of  the Merry Little Christmas DSP (available Sept 1st) using my Bow Builder Punch.  Isn’t it the cutest?  Next, the art panel was popped onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the final step for the front was to add a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center of the flower.

Deck the Halls-Cardiology by Jari

For the inside, I chose a Whisper White panel and stamped the ornament image from Carols of Christmas in Old Olive ink.  The sentiment is from Better Together and also stamped in Old Olive.  A little strip of the plaid paper from the front was adhered to the bottom and then the sentiment panel adhered to the card base.

Don’t wait too long to Deck the Halls with this great new stamp set!  Details for ordering are below.

A complete list of stamping supplies and card stock cuts will be at the end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! Carols of Christmas Bundle

Today is the day many of you have been waiting for!  It’s August 1st, and ordering begins for the Carols of Christmas Bundle.  Are you so excited?   I hope so, because this bundle is perfect for all of your holiday cards and beyond!  What a perfect day to showcase another card created with the Carols of Christmas Bundle from Stampin’ Up!

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

I just love the large sentiments in this stamp set.  And, if you feel they are too large for your card, you can certainly cut it in half as I did in THIS card.

I started by stamping the ornament images in Cherry Cobbler, then Garden Green onto a panel of Whisper White.  For the second set of ornaments (Garden Green) I carefully wiped off the last ornament after it had been inked up so that I would only have 2 ornaments hanging to the right of the Cherry Cobbler ornaments. That panel was framed with a little larger panel in Cherry Cobbler card stock with Liquid Multipurpose Glue.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

Next, I stamped the Deck the Halls sentiment in VersaMark ink onto a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock, sprinkled it with White Emboss Powder and heated it until smooth and shiny with a Heat Tool.  Once cool enough to handle, I die but it with a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. Two narrow strips of the Be Merry Designer Series Paper were cut and framed with strips of Garden Green card stock and then adhered to the lower front of the card with liquid glue.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

I pulled out a silver Metallic Foil Doily and adhered it to the front of the card, then cut a length of Silver Mini Sequin Trim and adhered it with several Glue Dots.  This panel was adhered to the Garden Green card stock base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then, the scalloped circle sentiment was adhered over the silver doily with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the holly, I used Garden Green ink and carefully wiped off the center berries and stamped.  Then, I came back with the berry images from the stamp set and stamped them in Cherry Cobbler ink.  I used the die from the Card Front Builder Thinlets (part of the bundle) to cut them out and adhered them to the front with small dimensionals.  The final touch was to add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the centers of the ornaments.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

More ornaments in Garden Green were stamped on the inside Whisper White panel and I chose the sentiment from the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and stamped it in Cherry Cobbler ink.  The narrow strip is the reverse side of the Be Merry DSP used on the front of my card.

So, are you ready to order the Carols of Christmas Bundle?

Stamping supplies and card stock cuts in inches will be at the end of my post.

Carols of Christmas for Happy Inkin’ Thursday

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Inkin’ Thursday!  My share for today is from the Carols of Christmas stamp set bundle from Stampin’ Up!

Our colors for the week: Soft Suede, Soft Sky and Pear Pizzaz

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop color challenge

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas

The Carols of Christmas Bundle will be available for purchase on August 1st.  But, you could get the stamp set for free now just by joining Stampin’ Up!  Then, use your Bonus Coupons to purchase the Card Front Builder Thinlets Dies in August.  See more details in the Christmas in July information later in my post.

I started with a panel of Soft Sky card stock and used the Card Front Builder Thinlets to cut out the moon and stars at the top.  A panel of Dazzling Diamonds Designer Series Paper was adhered to the back with some Liquid Multipurpose Glue. Stampin' Up! Carol of Christmas-Cardiology by Jari

Next, I dry embossed a panel of Soft Suede card stock with the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and adhered it to the Soft Sky panel with liquid glue.  The trees were die cut from Pear Pizzaz, topped with some glue from my Fine Tip Glue Pen and sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  I set them aside to dry and stamped two deer using the deer stamp from Carols of Christmas in Soft Suede ink.  They were cut out using the coordinating die from the bundle.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas-Cardiology by Jari

The snow bank was created with the swirly die from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlets from more Dazzling Diamonds DSP. Two of the trees were adhered to the Soft Suede panel, then I added the snow bank with more liquid glue.  The trees in the foreground were added with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the deer with liquid glue.

A length of Soft Sky 3/8″ Classic Weave Ribbon was adhered to the front with Tear & Tape Adhesive and the art panel popped onto the Soft Sky card stock base with dimensionals. I masked off the bottom half of the sentiment stamp with some tape, inked it in VersaMark, sprinkled on White Emboss Powder and heat embossed it onto a panel of Soft Sky.  Layering Ovals Framelits and Stitched Shapes Framelits were used to cut out the sentiment panel and mats.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas-Cardiology by JariI stamped the snowflake image from the Christmas Pines stamp set in Soft Sky onto a panel of Whisper White, then stamped the sentiment, also from Christmas Pines,  in Pear Pizzaz over them.  Another glittered Pear Pizzaz tree was adhered with glue and then the whole panel adhered to the base with liquid glue.  Enjoy!

A complete list of stamping supplies including card stock cuts will be at the end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! Carols of Christmas Bundle

I’m sharing another card today using the Carols of Christmas Bundle from Stampin’ Up!  This stamp set and coordinating Card Front Thinlets Dies are really fun to use.  You are going to love it, and it is available to you on August 1st, or the stamp set could be free right now if you decide to join Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator.  What a wonderful deal Stampin’ Up! is offering right now to new demonstrators.  Make sure you read all of the details, because this offer only lasts until the last day of this month.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

Silver foil is really hard to photograph, so I took several pictures at different angles.  It is really prettier in person!  I started with a Whisper White card stock base.  Next, I cut a panel of Silver Foil paper using the die which looks like a frame.  It cuts one end at a time, so you must go through the Big Shot two times.  The “frame” panel was adhered to a panel of Soft Sky card stock with some liquid glue and then adhered to the base with more liquid glue.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

I cut a rectangle of Fabulous Foil Acetate to fit just inside the “frame”, dotted it with very small bits of liquid glue and adhered it just inside the “frame” borders.  Next, I cut some trees with the Card Front Builder Thinlets.  One of the tree dies has two trees and the other is just one tree.  The double trees were cut from Soft Sky card stock and adhered to the front with some liquid glue.  The single tree was cut from Silver Foil and popped onto the top of the other trees with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

The deer image from the Carols of Christmas Bundle was stamped in Soft Sky ink, then die cut.  It was adhered to the front with a dimensional.  I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink onto a panel of Whisper White, sprinkled it with Silver Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  It was cut out with a Stitched Shapes Framelit square die.  A length of the new Silver Mini Sequin Trim was cut and adhered using some glue dots, then the sentiment was popped over it with dimensionals.  The Silver Foil stars were created when I cut out the frame so I added them to the front for a little bling.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas Bundle-Cardiology by J:ari

More trees were adhered to a Whisper White panel on the inside of the card, leaving some room for a handwritten note.

Card stock cuts and a complete list of supplies will be at the end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! Carols of Christmas

I’m sharing the Carols of Christmas Bundle (available August 1st), or now for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, with you today.  One of the great perks of becoming a demonstrator is receiving stamp sets and bundles before anyone else. And, this stamp set is free to anyone who joins Stampin’ Up! in the month of July.  All of the details are in this post.

Carols of Christmas-Cardiology by Jari

My card sketch was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #296

FMS#296

I selected the colors from Color Throwdown CTD#451

CTD#451

And, Paper Craft Crew, PCC#251 helped me decide on the Carols of Christmas stamp set bundle (available August 1st):

PCC #251

I started by stamping the new Sheet Music background stamp in Basic Black Archival ink onto a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Next, I used the corner dies from the coordinating Card Front Builder Thinlets Dies (available August 1st) and cut out the four corners of the sheet music panel.  Once die cut, I adhered it to a panel of Garden Green card stock.  Then, I stamped the sentiment and nine Poinsettias and several leaves, using Berry Burst and Garden Green card stock.

Carols of Christmas-Cardiology by Jari

I used the coordinating dies from the Card Front Builder Dies (available August 1st) to die cut the flowers and leaves, then popped the flowers onto the card with the new small Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a 3″ length of Powder Pink and Berry Burst 1/2″ Fine Woven ribbon, notched them at one end, and adhered them to the card front with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

Carols of Christmas-Cardiology by Jari

The sentiment panel was framed with a Powder Pink scalloped square from the Layering Squares Framelits dies and adhered to the center with dimensionals. Then I added the cut leaves with little dabs of liquid glue.  A few Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added and I popped the card front onto the Berry Burst card stock base with more Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Carols of Christmas-Cardiology by Jari

My Whisper White inside panel was die cut with another one of the fabulous dies from the Carols of Christmas Bundle and stamped with the Merry Christmas stamp from the Hang Your Stocking stamp set.  Don’t you agree this is a fabulous new set?  Lots of possibilities with it!

Card stock cuts and Stampin’ Up! supplies needed to create this card will be at the end of my post.

Wishing You Joy and a Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all of you! Wishing you joy and happiness on this most special day!  Thank you for following my blog, leaving encouraging comments, and sharing my posts on Pinterest and Facebook!  I used the Hello December 2016 Project Life Accessory Pack to create my card for today.

Joy

I started with Whisper White Thick card stock for my card base and added strips of washi tape (provided in the accessory pack) to the top and bottom of the front.  Next, I pulled out two of the acetate specialty cards and layered them together.  The bottom acetate layer has white and silver trees.  The top acetate layer is the silver “joy”.  Next, I cut out a panel of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper the same size as the acetate layers and glued it to acetate by dotting small specks of glue on each Christmas tree shape.

Joy

I cut a panel of Silver Foil card stock as a frame for the acetate layers and glued them together.  Three stars from the accessory pack were added to the front under the sentiment.  Finally, I added dimensionals and popped the art panel onto the front of the card.

Joy

I think my favorite part of the card is the inside sentiment.  I used the Stampin’ Up! Star of Light stamp set for this.  It was stamped with Versa Mark and Silver Emboss Powder sprinkled over it.  Then, I flicked off the excess and heat embossed it.  The sentiment panel is Whisper White with Silver Foil layered underneath it.  For the final touch, I added more of the washi tape to the very bottom.

You will find a list of supplies as well as card stock cuts in inches at the end of the post.

Thanks for stopping in today, and again, Merry Christmas!

Joy to the World for the Paper Players

I’m using the sentiment, Joy to the World, from Tin of Tags (on the retiring list and 20% off) for the focus of my card today.

Joy to the World

My card design was inspired by The Paper Players PP323

Paper Players 323

I started by layering a panel of This Christmas Specialty DSP onto a panel of Basic Black card stock.  I really love this sheet music design!  Then I chose the floral pattern from This Christmas DSP, and paired it with a panel of Garden Green.

Joy to the World

I cut a strip of Cherry Cobbler with one of the Flourish Thinlets Dies and adhered it to a panel of Garden Green to create a banner.  Joy to the World seemed appropriate for the sentiment and was stamped with Cherry Cobbler onto a panel of Very Vanilla. I used a Stitched Framelits Die to cut it out and framed it with a scalloped Layering Circle in Cherry Cobbler.

Joy to the World

Some Gold Natural Trim and Gold Baker’s Twine (on sale) were added before popping on the sentiment with dimensionals.

Joy to the World

The Merry Christmas sentiment is from Hang Your Stockings, and stamped in Cherry Cobbler.  I fussy cut some of the floral This Christmas DSP, and adhered it just above to break up some of the starkness of the Very Vanilla panel.

Card stock cuts in inches are at the end of my post along with Stampin’ Up! products used to create my card.

Stampin’ Up! Tin of Tags for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Tin of Tags for Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Wow, it’s December 1st!  My share for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop today is from Tin of Tags from Stampin’ Up! The countdown is really on for completing Christmas card making!

Here is our color challenge-and it was really a challenge for me!

Tin

I got some inspiration from the SIP challenge #76, too

SIP #76

I was happy with how it turned out and I love these colors together. So glad I tried them!

Tin

Instructions:

I used Soft Sky as my card base and added layers of Whisper White and Soft Sky from the Subtles DSP stack.  My art piece was stamped with the large snowflake image from Tin of Tags in Soft Sky.  I stamped the small snowflake image from Hang Your Stocking in Sweet Sugarplum.  Then, I dry embossed the panel with my Softly Falling Textured Embossing Folder and framed it with a panel of Sweet Sugarplum.

Tin

I fold/pleated two lengths of 3/8″ Sweet Sugarplum Glitter Ribbon and used glue dots to keep the folds together.  Then, I added some Tear & Tape adhesive to the backs and adhered them to the art panel.  Next I created my sentiment from Tin of Tags, coloring onto the stamp with Soft Sky and Sweet Sugarplum inks.  I cut the circles out with my Layering Circles Framelits Dies and adhered them, then popped them on with dimensionals.

A few Rhinestones Basic Jewels and Silver Sequins were added for some bling.

Inside:

Tin

I chose a different sentiment from Tin of Tags for the inside, and tried to mimic the front art panel somewhat.

Card stock cuts in inches and products used to create my card are at the end of the post
