Stampin’ Up! Celebration Time Bundle

I used the Celebration Time Bundle to create a fun birthday card for today.  I looked at my card stash and realized I was almost out of birthday cards, so it was time to get busy creating some!  I recently received this fun bundle and decided to give it a try.

Stampin' Up! Celebration Time-CardiologybyJari

The inspiration for the sketch is from Global Design Project 116-CASE the designer

Global Design Project 116

My photo does not really show off the Foil Frenzy DSP very well!  I must have tried for half an hour to capture the beautiful Berry Burst design, but to no avail!  If I had finished this card in daylight, it probably would have photographed well in natural lighting!  This next photo shows the color much better:

Stampin' Up! Celebration Time-CardiologybyJari

I used a panel of Crumb Cake card stock as a mat for the Foil Frenzy DSP and layered them onto my Whisper White Thick card stock base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The cake sentiment was stamped on Whisper White Thick card stock and die cut with the cake die from the Celebration Thinlets Dies.  A length of Berry Burst Finely Woven Ribbon was adhered with Tear & Tape Adhesive, some Silver Mini Sequin Trim added with a Glue Dot and the cake adhered with Stampin Dimensionals.  The cute little Silver Foil bow was created using a die from the Celebration Thinlets and adhered with Glue Dots.  The final sentiment from Celebration Time was stamped in Berry Burst ink and die cut with the smallest die from the Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies.  The final touch was to add some loose silver sequins to the card front with tiny dots of liquid glue.  Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Merry Little Labels for Happy Inkin’ Thursday

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Merry Little Labels stamp set to create the card I am sharing for our sketch challenge this week.

Stampin' Up! Merry Little Labels-CardiologybyJari

If you are looking for a quick and easy Christmas card, look no further than the Merry Little Labels stamp set!  I also purchased this set as a bundle with the Everyday Label Punch and saved 10%.  The punch also works with the Labels to Love stamp set, and you’ll see a little farther down, I enlisted that set in this card, too!

I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink, then wiped off the holly leaves with a baby wipe and re-inked them with my Garden Green Stampin’ Write marker.  Stampin' Up! Merry Little Labels-CardiologybyJari

I used the die from the Swirly Snowflake Thinlets as a divider between the two panels of Quilted Chrismas DSP.  The Foil Snowflake was adhered with liquid glue to the card front, then a length of the Quilted Christmas 1/4″ Ribbon was added with some glue dots.  Once the ribbon was adhered, I added the sentiment circles with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Merry Little Lables-CardiologybyJari

The inside sentiment is one from the Labels to Love stamp set and I used the ink to rubber method to stamp it with my Real Red and Garden Green Stampin’ Write Markers.  The two Christmas trees are die cut in Garden Green using the Card Front Builder Thinlets Dies.  If you look closely you will see that I used my Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to make them sparkle a little.  Enjoy!

Card stock cuts and project supplies will be found at the end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! Beachy Little Christmas CAS Card

I used the Beachy Little Christmas stamp set to create a CAS card for today.  The inspiration for the clean and simple design is from the CAS on Friday Challenge #122.

Stampin' Up! Beachy Little Christmas-CardiologybyJari

I started by stamping the the sand and water with a stamp from the Sheltering Tree set in Sahara Sand and Pool Party on a panel of Whisper White.  Next, I stamped the palm tree from Beachy Little Christmas in Basic Black ink and colored it in with Sahara Sand, Real Red, Pear Pizzaz and Pool Party Stampin’ Write Markers.  The art panel was then adhered to a panel of Pool Party and popped onto the Whisper White Thick card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Beachy Little Christmas-CardiologybyJari

The little beach hut was stamped in Basic Black Archival ink onto a panel of Whisper White Thick card stock.  I used my Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends markers to color it in, then fussy cut it out with my Paper Snips.  The wreath and the swirl on the surfboard were colored in with Stampin’ Write Markers, then I popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A shell was stamped in Basic Black Archival ink, colored in with a Sahara Sand marker and fussy cut out, then added with a dimensional. The right side of the card looked a little bare, so I added a cloud from the Lift Me Up stamp set and Up & Away Thinlets Dies.

Stampin' Up! Beachy Little Christmas-CardiologybyJari

I couldn’t resist that cute little crab for the inside of the card.  It was also stamped in Basic Black Archival ink and colored in with Real Red and Pear Pizzaz Stampin’ Write Markers.  This stamp set retires with the 2017 Occasions Catalog on January 2nd, and if you are a sand and sea lover like me, you really need to add this one to your collection.  It can be used all year round without the sentiments.  Enjoy!

Important Update on the Stamparatus!

Stamparatus

The results are in! The first Stamparatus reservation window reached its maximum number of reservations in just 15 minutes, which provided us with some very important information: You LOVE this new stamping tool! We couldn’t be more thrilled; in fact, your response was so amazing that we’ve decided to make some important adjustments to the reservation process.

As was previously announced, the second reservation window will remain open from December 5–30; however, during this reservation period we will take as many orders as we receive and not close the window until December 30. So whether the total number of reservations is 100 or 100,000, the window will stay open!

Please note the following changes:
  • Beginning March 19, we will ship Stamparatuses in the order the reservations were received (first in, first out) and continue through the next few months and beyond as product arrives in our warehouse. Because shipment dates are based on manufacturing lead times, not all of the reservations made during the December 5–30 window will ship on March 19 (as was previously announced).
  • In order to accommodate demand, limits have changed as follows:
    • One reservation per customer.
    • Because we are not limiting the maximum number of reservations for the second window, we will not offer a third window. This is the last chance for you to reserve a Stamparatus before it becomes available in the 2018-2019 annual catalog.

Please note what has not changed:

  • The reservation window will open at 2:00 PM (MT) on December 5.

We can’t wait for you to get your hands on your very own Stamparatus and look forward to seeing the projects you’ll make with this incredible stamping tool.

Here is a helpful tutorial on how to order your Stamparatus on the 5th (That is tomorrow!!!)

Carols of Christmas for Happy Inkin’ Thursday

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thanksgiving, I hope you are enjoying friends and family today!  Thanks for taking some time out of your busy schedule to join us for Happy Inkin’ Thursday.  I used the Carols of Christmas stamp set to create my card for our sketch challenge.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas

I started with a panel from the Merry Little Christmas DSP and adhered it to a panel of Basic Black card stock with liquid glue.  Then, I popped that panel onto the Cherry Cobbler card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Next, I stamped the sentiment from Carols of Christmas in Cherry Cobbler ink onto a Whisper White panel.  I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the accent stamp and stamped it in Old Olive ink above and below the sentiment.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas-Cardiology by Jari

Carols of Christmas comes in a bundle, so I stamped the holly leaves and berries using the stamp to rubber method with an Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write marker and die cut them with the corresponding die from the Card Front Builder Thinlets.  They were adhered with liquid glue, then the art panel was adhered to a slightly larger panel of Cherry Cobbler.  I created a bow with the Cherry Cobbler 1/4″ Double Stitched Ribbon, adhered it with Glue Dots, then popped the sentiment panel onto the card front with more dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas-Cardiology by Jari

For the inside of my card, I chose a sentiment and image from Merry Mistletoe, stamping the sentiment in Basic Black Archival ink, and using the ink to rubber method for the Mistletoe.  I used the Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write markers to color the image, then huffed on it before stamping onto the Whisper White panel.  Enjoy!

Now, please hop on over to see what Kristi has created for today!

Merry Mistletoe for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Hop

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Time for another color challenge on Happy Inkin’ Thursday.  I used the Merry Mistletoe stamp set and Merry Little Christmas DSP to create the card I am sharing with you today.

Happy Inkin' Thursday Color challenge

Stampin' Up1 Merry Mistletoe-Cardiology by Jari

I really like these colors together for Christmas cards, don’t you?  This card really went together quickly once I saw the colors we were using this week.  The Merry Little Christmas DSP was a big help, too!  I used Whisper White Thick card stock as my card base, as well as for the reindeer, that I fussy cut out with my paper snips.  A panel of Old Olive card stock was adhered to the card base, then I stamped the sentiment from Merry Mistletoe in Basic Black Archival ink onto a panel of regular Whisper White card stock.  I inked up the sentiment, then carefully wiped off the mistletoe “leaves” with a baby wipe and re-inked them with an Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker.

Stampin' Up! Merry Mistletoe-Cardiology by Jari

Next, a panel of the plaid Merry Little Christmas DSP was adhered to the lower portion of the art panel.  A length of Basic Black 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and a bow was tied.  Stampin’ Dimensionals were added to the back and then popped onto the Old Olive panel.  I used a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on the reindeer and popped him on and two Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to the mistletoe.

Stampin' Up! Merry Mistletoe-Cardiology by Jari

The inside is also very simple, just a panel of Whisper White with the sentiment stamped in Basic Black Archival ink with one of the tree images from Merry Mistletoe stamped on either end in Old Olive ink.  Two Enamel Shape stars were added to the tree tops.  Enjoy!

A list of supplies and card stock cuts will follow.

Thanks for stopping by!  One week from today I will be at OnStage in Salt Lake City with several of my team members!  We will have a couple of days of stamping together and getting our hands on the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog!  I am also getting to tour the Stampin’ Up! facility-can’t wait, it should be loads of fun.  I will post some pictures for you

Stampin’ Up! Color Me Happy & Stampin’ Blends

I used the Stampin’ Up! Color Me Happy stamp set and the Stampin’ Blends to create two note cards to share today.  Today is the day-the Color Me Happy stamp set, Color Me Happy Project Kit, and the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers are all available to order beginning today.  And, I have an ordering special you can read about later in my post.

Stampin' Up! Color Me Happy-Cardiology by Jari

I know you are going to love these Stampin’ Blends markers.  They are really fun and easy to work with.  For the first card, I stamped the bird image from Color Me Happy in Memento Tuxedo Black, then I began coloring with the Light Pool Party marker.  Next, I used the Dark Pool Party marker to do some shading.  I blended some of the Lighter Pool Party with the Dark and added some Pumpkin Pie for the beak, legs and feet.

Stampin' Up! Color Me Happy-Cardiology by Jari

For the second card, I stamped the lantern string in Memento Tuxedo Black ink across the top of the panel.  Then, I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help with the placement of the lanterns.  One extra small lantern was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White Thick card stock, colored and blended in with the Daffodil Delight markers and fussy cut out.

Stampin' Up! Color Me Happy-Cardiology by Jari

The larger lanterns on either end of the art panel were colored and blended with both the light and dark Rich Razzleberry markers.  I used the Color Lifter to help with the shading in the center of the lanterns.  The extra lantern that was fussy cut was popped on over the stamped lantern in the center with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

There are so many stamp sets in both the Annual Catalog and the Holiday Catalog that are perfect for coloring with the new Stampin’ Blends.  I hope you’ll check out the information below and order yours today!

Stampin Up! Watercolor Christmas Wishes

I used the Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Christmas stamp set to create the card I am sharing with you today.

Stampin' Up! Watercolor Wishes-Cardiology by Jari

I started with a panel of the wonderful Quilted Christmas Designer Series Paper and adhered it to my Whisper White Thick card stock base.  Next, I matted another panel of the same DSP with a little larger panel of regular Whisper White card stock and adhered them both to the card front.  Stampin' Up! Watercolor Wishes-Cardiology by Jari

I chose the largest sentiment from Watercolor Christmas and stamped it in Real Red, then cut it out with one of the largest ovals from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies.  The sentiment oval was matted to a little larger Garden Green scalloped oval, also cut from the Layering Ovals Framelits.  The cute little Christmas tree is a stamp from the Smitten Mittens stamp set and die cut from the Many Mittens Framelits Dies.  Don’t you love it?  I added a length of Quilted Christmas 1/4″ Ribbon with some Tear & Tape Adhesive and then popped the sentiment oval on with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and the front was completed!

Stampin' Up! Watercolor Wishes-Cardiology by Jari

More of the Christmas trees were added to the inside, as well as another sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Christmas stamp set.  Have you checked out the Watercolor Christmas Project Kit on page 34 of the Holiday Catalog?  There are the makings for 20 Christmas cards, and add this stamp set and you are ready to check off your Christmas card to do list!

My Whisper White panel was dry embossed with the Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, then adhered to a panel of Silver Foil.

Stampin' Up!Winter Wonder-Cardiology by Jari

I used the sentiment from the Merry Mistletoe stamp set and inked a panel of Whisper White in Cherry Cobbler, then cut out an oval with my Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.  A slightly larger scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits was die cut in Silver Foil and then adhered to the sentiment oval.  To add just a little more color, I stamped the holly leaves and berries from the Hang Your Stocking stamp set.  They were die cut with the coordinating Christmas Stocking Thinlets Dies.  A few Pearl Basic Jewels were added to the front and finally the art panel was adhered to the Cherry Cobbler card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Year of Cheer for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Flurry of Wishes stamp set to create my card for this week’s blog hop.  We have a sketch challenge that I think you will enjoy!

Stampin' Up1 Year of Cheer-Cardiology by Jari

The Year of Cheer DSP really makes it easy to create a stunning card with very little effort!  I started with a Whisper White Thick card stock base and adhered a panel of the plaid Year of Cheer DSP to it with liquid glue.

Next, I dry embossed a Champagne Foil panel with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Then, I popped it onto the front at an angle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Another panel from Year of Cheer DSP was adhered to the embossed panel with Glue Dots.

I inked up the sentiment from Flurry of Wishes in VersaMark ink, sprinkled it with Gold Emboss Powder and heated it until smooth and shiny.  The sentiment panel was then matted with a little larger panel of Gold Foil.  A banner was cut using the Bunch of Banners Thinlets Dies and Gold Foil, cut in half and adhered to the sentiment with Glue Dots.

The snowflake was die cut from the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlets Dies and one Rhinestone Basic Jewel added for a little bling.

More heat embossing for the inside sentiment, also from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set, and I finished it off with a little more of the Year of Cheer Specialty DSP on the back flap of the envelope.  Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Many Mittens & Snowflakes Sentiments

I used the Many Mittens Framelits Dies and the Snowflakes Sentiments stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create a Christmas card to share with you today.

Stampin' Up! Many Mittens & Snowflake Sentiments-Cardiology by Jari

My card design was inspired by the sketch at the Paper Players this week.

Paper Players PP#367

I started by adhering a panel of Christmas Around the World DSP, that is one of the Buy 3 get 1 FREE sale going on right now until the 31st, to the Pool Party card stock base with liquid glue. The banner was cut from another panel from the Christmas Around the World DSP and punched on one end with my Banner Triple Punch.

Next, I die cut one large Whisper White plain mitten and one large Whisper White cut-out mitten from the Many Mittens Framelits Dies and adhered them with tiny dabs of Liquid Glue.  A length of Pool Party Solid Baker’s Twine was wrapped around the mitten and  finished with a bow.  I stamped the sentiment from Snowflake Sentiments in VersaMark ink, sprinkled it with Silver Emboss Powder and heat embossed it on a panel of Basic Gray card stock.  Then the sentiment was die cut with an oval and framed with a little larger scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits in Silver Foil.

A length of Silver Metallic Thread was wound around and adhered to the mitten with a Glue Dot, then the mitten and the sentiment ovals were popped onto the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Finally, three Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added for some sparkle.

The inside sentiment was stamped in Basic Gray ink.   The two snowflakes were die cut from the Seasonal Layers Thinlets Dies in Silver Foil.
