Stampin’ Up! Popcorn Box Thinlets for Christmas Treats!

My share for today is another little treat box for Christmas goodies or for a small gift of some kind.  I used the Popcorn Box Thinlets to create both of them. If you’re looking for a really quick and easy treat box, this is it!  And, with all of the great Christmas stamps and accessories this year, the possibilities are endless for decorating your boxes.  Mine are truly very simple!

Popcorn Box

For this Popcorn Box, I used Whisper White card stock and added some Candy Cane Lane Designer Washi Tape to the bottom edge. Then, I stamped the snowflake image from the Tin of Tags stamp set in Versa Mark ink onto a panel of Real Red.  It was then sprinkled with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed with my Heat Tool.  I used one of the Layering Circles Dies to cut it out and then, made one more for the back side.  A Rhinestone Basic Jewel was then  added to both centers.  The banner sentiment is from Star of Light and is also heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  The 6 x 8 Cellophane Bag is tied with strands of the Candy Cane Lane Baker’s Twine.

Popcorn Box

This Popcorn Box was created with Real Red card stock and more of the Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape.  I used a sentiment from Candy Cane Christmas  and stamped it in Real Red ink onto a Whisper White panel.  Then, I used one of the new Stitched Shape Framelits Dies to cut it out.  The candy cane is also from Candy Cane Christmas and was fussy cut out.  I added a bow to it using some Emerald Envy Baker’s Twine.

If you have not used the Popcorn Box Thinlets Dies you may want to watch this great lesson  on assembly of the box.

Candy Cane Lane for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

I’m combining Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper and Oh What Fun from Stampin’ Up! for my share for the Happy Stampers today.

Here is our sketch:

Candy Cane for Happy Stampers

Candy Cane Lane

Ok, another easy peasy Christmas Card!   This time with the help of the wonderful Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper.  I first cut my Real Red panel and then the background Candy Cane Lane paper, making sure my strips would fit evenly across with a little space in-between.  The three panels were adhered with liquid glue. A strip of Candy Cane Lane Designer Washi Tape was then added to the bottom of the panel.  Next came the fussy cutting of the adorable gingerbread houses.  I decided the chimneys needed some smoke coming out, so I die cut the “flame” from the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits Dies in Early Expresso card stock.

Candy Cane Lane

I inked up the “oh, what fun” from the Oh What Fun stamp set in versamark ink, stamped it on a panel of Early Expresso paper, sprinkled on some White Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat embossed it.  Then, I used my Triple Banner Punch to create a banner on one end.  I fussy cut the gingerbread boy from the Candy Cane Lane DSP and adhered it to the banner and added the houses and banner to the front with dimensionals.

Candy Cane Lane

For the inside, I used more of the DSP and Washi I had used on the front and adhered it to my Early Expresso card base.  The sentiment is another one from Oh What Fun and also heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on my Real Red panel. I used the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies to cut 2 ovals.  Just for fun, I stamped some of the candy images from Candy Cane Christmas, fussy cut them, and glued them together, then popped them on with a Stampin’ dimensional.

Candy Cane Lane

For my envelope, I added another design from the Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape for a little added fun!

Candy Cane Christmas for the Happy Stampers

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

It’s a Candy Cane Christmas for the Happy Stampers Color Challenge today.  I love the colors we are working with, they are just perfect for a Christmas card.

Happy Stampers color challengey

Here is my card:
stampin-up-candy-cane-christmas-cardiology-by-jari-002

This card is really quick and easy!  I started by stamping the images from Candy Cane Christmas onto a panel of Whisper White Cardstock, using, you guessed it, our color challenge colors: Real Red, Crumb Cake and Early Expresso.  This art panel was then adhered to a panel of Crumb Cake Cardstock with liquid glue.  I cut a panel from Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper to add to the left side.

Candy Cane

Next, I stamped a sentiment from Candy Cane Christmas, using Early Expresso ink on a panel of Whisper White. It is die cut with a Layering Circles die and framed with three other circles using Early Expresso, Crumb Cake and Real Red Cardstock.  They were adhered with liquid glue and popped onto the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The right lower corner of the card seemed a little to bare, so I stamped a gingerbread boy with my Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set in Early Expresso onto a panel of Whisper White Thick cardstock.  He was punched out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.  I added a candy cane that I fussy cut with my Paper Snips to his arm with liquid glue and popped him onto the front with a couple of dimensionals.

candy cane

Then, this whole art panel was popped onto the Real Red Cardstock base with dimensionals.  And now, the inside:

candy cane

This sentiment is from Suite Seasons.  Some of the font is similar to the front of the card, so I thought it would work perfectly.  It is stamped in Early Expresso ink.  I finished the bottom of the panel with a length of the gumdrop patterned Candy Cane Lane Designer Washi Tape.

Jar of Cheer Meets Candy Cane Christmas!

Hi, and happy Saturday.   My share for today was hard to title because of combining Jar of Cheer and Candy Cane Christmas, but once you see my card, I think you will agree…

Jar of Cheer

The sketch inspiration is from Freshly Made Sketches, FMS #253

FMS 253

I started with a Real Red card base and adhered a panel of Crumb Cake that had been dry embossed with the Sparkle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, with liquid glue.  To the center of the card front, I added a panel of Candy Cane Lane DSP, that was framed with a panel of Real Red, also using liquid glue.

Jar of Cheer

The jar and lid were stamped in Early Expresso ink onto a panel of Whisper White Thick card stock and die cut using the Everyday Jars Framelits Dies.  I also cut out one extra jar shape for the back of the jar, leaving it whole, then cut out some of the “cookies” from the Candy Cane Lane DSP and layered and glued all but the top one with liquid glue.  The top gingerbread shape is popped onto the others with a dimensional.  Next, I cut one more jar shape from a Window Sheet and adhered it to the back of the front jar piece.  I used  Foam Adhesive strips to the back of the Window Sheet cut-out and adhered the front and back together.  The bow from Jar of Cheer is stamped in Real Red, die cut and added with a glue dot.

Jar of Cheer

I stamped the sentiment from Jar of Cheer onto a panel of Whisper White Thick card stock with Real Red ink and die cut it with the banner image from the Gift Card Envelope and Trims Thinlets, punched a hole in one end with the 1/8″ Handheld Circle Punch, and added a strand of Candy Cane Lane Baker’s Twine with a Christmas Trinket Embellishment attached.  The Real Red 3/4″ Stitched Ribbon was attached with Tear and Tape, and then I added the Jar of Cheer with Candy Cane Christmas goodies to the front with more Tear and Tape Adhesive.  The sentiment is popped on with dimensionals.

Jar of Cheer

A sentiment from Candy Cane Christmas is stamped in Real Red along with a Candy Cane, then a length of the Candy Cane Lane Designer Washi Tape finished the bottom of the Whisper White panel.

Cookie Cutter Christmas

How cute is this?  The punch also coordinates with Cookie Cutter Halloween, but that is for another day..

Cookie Cutter Christmas

My card base is Real Red.  I chose the striped paper from the Candy Cane Lane DSP, and layered it on a panel of Crumb Cake with glue.  I added a Delicate White Doily to the center with glue and worked on my banners.  The largest banner is cut in Crumb Cake, then dry embossed with the Sparkle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I stamped the sentiment from the new Candy Cane Christmas stamp set in Real Red and used another banner from the Banners Framelits to die cut it, then adhered it to the larger banner with glue and glued it on top of the doily.

Here is a look at the Candy Cane lane DSP:

Candy Cane Lane

The Gingerbread Boy is stamped in Crumb Cake onto Whisper White and punched out with the Cookie Cutter Builder punch.  I also punched out Real Red heart shaped buttons using that same punch and added them to his shirt with glue.  The candy is from Candy Cane Christmas stamped in Real Red onto Whisper White Thick card stock , fussy cut with Paper Snips, and adhered to the front with glue and dimensionals.  I made a bow with the wonderful new 3 /4″ Real Red Stitched Edge Ribbon and attached it with glue dots on the front and back and popped this panel onto the card base with dimensionals.

Here is a look at Candy Cane Lane and another peek at the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamps:

I finished the inside of my card with a little strip of the new Candy Cane Lane Designer Washi Tape along the bottom of the Crumb Cake panel.

I really think you should add Cookie Cutter Christmas to your wish list, I can envision so many adorable projects with this bundle, and of course, you must add Candy Cane Christmas and Candy Cane Lane DSP, and well, you get my drift!!!
