Stampin’ Up! Lovely Friends Bundle Sneak Peek

I’m sharing another sneak peek of the Lovely Friends Bundle (available June 1st) from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog. I’m also using three of the new In-Colors; Lemon,Lime Twist, Powder Pink and Berry Burst.

Lovely Friends Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

The sketch was inspired by this week’s Paper Craft Crew PCC#243 Sketch Challenge:

PCC#243

To begin, I stamped the large sentiment from the Lovely Friends Bundle in Berry Burst ink (available June 1st), onto a panel of Whisper White. Then, I pulled out the small corner dies and cut out the top and lower corners, giving a peek-a-boo effect.  This panel was adhered to a panel of Berry Burst.

Lovely Friends Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

The flowers in this set are a two step process, so I stamped the solid stamp in Powder Pink (available June 1st), then the second stamp in Berry Burst for all 3 flowers.  They were die cut with the Lovely Laurel Thinlets Dies(available June 1st).  The leaves were die cut from Lemon Lime Twist card stock.  I used another sentiment from the Lovely Friends Bundle for the small banner.

Lovely Friends Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

For some reason, I have a hard time leaving a Whisper White panel bare, so I randomly stamped one of the images from Touches of Texture in Powder Pink ink across the panel.  That panel was then adhered to a panel of Lemon Lime Twist, then popped onto the Berry Burst card base.  I added a banner of the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper, then popped the other panels and flowers on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and some Liquid Glue.

Lovely Friends Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

For the inside of my card, I chose another sentiment from Lovely Friends and stamped it in Berry Burst.  A strip of Fresh Florals DSP was adhered to the bottom of the Whisper White panel.

A complete list of supplies needed to create this card as well as card stock cuts in inches will be at the end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! Daisy Delight Bundle Sneak Peek

Today, I am sharing another sneak peek of the Daisy Delight Bundle (available June 1st) from the upcoming 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  Just a few more days and you will be receiving your new catalog, if you are a customer of mine.  You will love all of the new products!

Stampin' Up! Delightful Daisy Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) This Sketch CTS#220

CTS#220

I started by stamping two daisies from the Daisy Delight stamps in Daffodil Delight onto Whisper White, then I stamped the centers with Soft Suede.  Then, I used the Daisy Punch, which is part of the Daisy Delight Bundle, to punch out both flowers.  I offset the petals a little and used glue dots to adhere them together.

Stampin' Up! Daisy Delight Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

Next, I stamped 3 of the smallest flowers from the Falling Flowers stamp set in Daffodil Delight onto Whisper White card stock and colored in the centers with my Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Marker.  They were die cut with the coordinating May Flowers Framelits Dies.  The stamp set and Framelits are bundled in the 2016-2017 catalog, and you can still save 10% on them before June 1st.  Once the new catalog goes live, they will be sold separately, not as a bundle.  I pulled out the Swirly Bird Bundle and stamped several of the smallest flower image in Daffodil Delight onto Whisper White and die cut them.  This is another bundle that will be sold separately beginning June 1st.

Stampin' Up! Daisy Delight Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

Using some Lemon Lime Twist ink (available June 1st, or now, with the Eastern Palace Suite offer), I stamped the dotted image from Swirly Bird and the leaf image from Falling Flowers onto a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  The sentiment is from Best Birds, and was stamped in Soft Suede ink.  I adhered the art panel to a panel of Fresh Florals DSP (available June 1st), then adhered some of the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals and some with Liquid Glue.  The finished art panel was popped onto the Whisper White base with Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Daisy Delight Bundle-Cardiology by Jari

The inside has a panel of Whisper White adhered to a panel of the Lemon Lime Twist Fresh Florals DSP with the extra  flowers I created adhered to the corner with Liquid Glue.

You will find a list of stamping supplies used to create this card, as well as card stock cuts at the end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! Seaside Shore Ahoy There

I used the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Shore and Suite Sentiments stamp sets to create my card to share with you today.

.

Stampin' Up! Seaside Shore Cardiology by Jari

I was inspired by the sketch over at Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #89

Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #89

I started with a panel from By The Shore DSP and dry embossed it with the Seaside Textured Impresions Folder. It was then adhered to a panel of Soft Sky card stock.

Stampin' Up! Seaside Shore by Cardiology by Jari

Next, I added the length of Dapper Denim Ruched Ribbon with Tear & Tape Adhesive, wrapping it around my layered panel.  Then the next pattern from By The Shore was lined up and adhered to the right of the ribbon.  On a panel of Very Vanilla, I stamped the sea grass image from Seaside Shore in Soft Sky ink.  The anchor was then stamped in Dapper Denim on top of the grass. My next step was to die cut the panel with one of my Stitched Shapes circle dies. Two more scalloped circles were cut with my Layering Circles Framelits dies to adhere to my anchor panel.

Stampin' Up! Seaside Shore Cardiology by Jari

Ahoy There, also from Seaside Shore, was stamped in Calypso Coral ink onto a panel of Very Vanilla and snipped out with my Paper Snips.  It was attached to the anchor panel with Dimensionals, a knot was adhered with glue dots and both of the panels popped onto the front of the Calypso Coral card stock base with Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Seaside Shore Cardiology by Jari

I stamped a sentiment from Suite Sentiments for my inside panel and finished the bottom edge with more of the By the Shore DSP found on the front of the card.

And because I really love this paper, I decided to decorate the outside flap of my Very Vanilla envelope with another pattern from the pack!

A complete list of products used to create my Seaside Shore Ahoy There card and card stock cuts will be at the end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! Time of Year for The Paper Players

I combined the Time of Year and Love & Affection stamp sets to create a card for The Paper Players Clean and Simple Challenge this week.

Time of Year Love & Affection

The challenge this week is to create a CAS card with the sentiment as the focal point.  I hope you’ll check out all of the other designs at PP#332.

Paper Players #332

I started with a panel of Cucumber Crush as my base.  When I paired it with Night of Navy, I felt like I needed to do something to the Night of Navy besides just creating a frame with Copper Foil paper.  So, I pulled out my Floral Affections Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and dry embossed the Night of Navy layer.  The folder is smaller than most Embossing Folders so I was able to move the panel and emboss different sections .  I actually ran it through 4 different times, embossing the corners and some of the middle.

Time of Year and Love & Affection

Thinking of You is the main sentiment in the Time of Year Host stamp set, and I stamped it in Versa Mark ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock.  Then, I sprinkled it with Copper Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. Once dry, it was cut out with the largest square from the Layering Squares Framelits Dies.   The frame is the largest scalloped square from that same set of framelits.   I chose the small flower image from Love & Affection and stamped a panel of Watermelon Wonder with more Versa Mark ink, then Copper Emboss Powder.  The flower was then fussy cut with my Paper Snips.

Time of Year and Love & Affection

For the center strip, I chose the Affectionately Yours Specialty DSP and used more Copper Foil for a frame for it.  Once all the parts were completed, I began adhering them from the bottom up.  The Night of Navy panel was adhered to the Foil with glue, then adhered to the card base with Dimensionals. The center strip was adhered with glue, then the sentiment panel popped on with Dimensionals. I added the flower last with a small Dimensional.

The inside of my card is simple, too

Time of Year and Love & Affection

I used the sentiment from Love & Affection and stamped it in Versa Mark, then heat embossed it with Copper Emboss Powder.

A complete list of stamping supplies and card stock cuts in inches for my Time of Year and Love & Affection card will be at the end of my post.

Dragonfly Dreams & Butterfly Basics for PCC#231

I used the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle, Butterfly Basics and Gorgeous Grunge from Stampin’ Up! to create my card for today.

Dragonfly

I’m playing along with the sketch at Paper Craft Crew #231.

PCC#231

I started by stamping the Whisper White art panel with the splatter image from Gorgeous Grunge in Crumb Cake ink. Because I did not want the Crumb cake too dark, I stamped it off onto a scrap paper a couple of times.  Then, I did the same thing with the honeycomb image from Butterfly Basics.  The fern image from Butterfly Basics was stamped in Wild Wasabi 3 times without re-inking.

Dragonfly  The body of the Dragonfly, from Dragonfly Dreams, was stamped in Basic Black, then the wings in Wisteria Wonder.  I die cut it with the matching die from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlets Dies.  I added some Dimensionals to the back and looped a length of Gold Metallic Thread around a few times before popping it onto the art panel.  The banner sentiment is from Dragonfly Dreams and stamped in Basic Black, then die cut with the banner from the Gift Card Envelope & Thinlets Dies.  My little flower was created with the long die from the Flourish Thinlets.  I cut the circles apart and glued two parts together to make a flower.  The center is one of the smaller White Perfect Accents.

Dragonfly

The inside sentiment is from Butterfly Basics and stamped in Wisteria Wonder.  Three more fern fronds were stamped in Wild Wasabi and a little strip of the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack card stock was repeated to finish it off!

Card stock cuts and products used in creating this card will be at the end of the post.

Stampin’ Up! Blooms & Wishes For You

I used the Blooms & Wishes stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create a Clean and Simple card for today.

Blooms & Wishes

I was inspired by the colors over at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge #86 this week

SIP 86

And, my sketch was inspired by Case this Sketch CAS(E)#209

I started by making a mask of the largest flower image so that my other flowers would appear to be behind it.  I used Daffodil Delight ink and stamped the flower from Blooms & Wishes onto a sticky note, and fussy cut it out.  Then, I stamped the large flower image onto my Whisper White panel.  I stamped the center image with Peekaboo Peach.

Blooms & Wishes

The mask was then placed on top of the large flower and I began to stamp the other flowers and leaves using Peekaboo Peach, Bermuda Bay and Wild Wasabi.  Once all of the florals were completed, I stamped the sentiment, also from Blooms & Wishes, in Versa Mark ink.  Copper Embossing Powder was sprinkled on top and heat embossed.

Blooms & Wishes

The art panel was adhered to a panel of Bermuda Bay with liquid glue. Then, I added a few pearls to the centers of the small flowers and popped it onto the Whisper White base with dimensionals.

Blooms & Wishe

For the inside, I stamped some more of the flower images from Blooms & Wishes using the masking technique again, and layered it onto a panel of Bermuda Bay before adhering it to the Whisper White base.

A complete list of stamping supplies and card stock cuts are located at the end of my post.

Window Shopping for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Window Shopping Bundle to create a clean and simple card for our blog hop today!

Window

And here is our sketch for the week:

Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop sketch

I started with a panel of Whisper White card stock and die cut the large die from the Window Box Thinlets a little below the center.  Then, I cut a panel of Blooms & Bliss DSP and attached it behind the cut out area with a little liquid glue.

Window

A length of Mint Macaron Sheer Linen Ribbon was adhered to the right side of the art panel by adding a little Tear & Tape Adhesive to the front and back.  Then, I adhered the panel to a little larger panel of Island Indigo card stock so that only the right side peeked out a little.  My next step was to adhere the whole thing to the Whisper White card stock base with Dimensionals.

Window

I stamped Thinking of You,  found in the Window Shopping stamp set, with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with White Emboss Powder.  I used my banner die from the Gift Card Envelope and Trims Thinlets to cut it out, then added some loops of Silver Metallic Thread to the end with a couple of Glue Dots.  One of the Falling In Love Embellishments was also adhered with Glue Dots and all that was left of the front was to pop the banner on with Dimensionals.

The inside has a Whisper White panel with a small strip of the Blooms & Bliss DSP used under the front cut out adhered to the bottom to leave room for a longer note.

And, there you have it, a CAS card for you today!  A complete list of supplies and card stock cuts in inches is located at the end of my post.

Now, on to the rest of the hop to see what Kristi has created for us today!  Thanks so much for joining us 🙂

Stampin’ Up! Lift Me Up for Love and PP#329

I used the Stampin’ Up! Lift Me Up Bundle to create my card for today.

Lift

The inspiration for the sketch layout is from The Paper Players #329

PP329

I started by adhering a panel of Carried Away Designer Series Paper (FREE during Sale-A-Bration) to a panel of Mint Macaron card stock.  Then, I cut a narrow strip of another panel of the Carried Away DSP and adhered it to the bottom of the layered panel with liquid glue.

Lift

Next, I die cut the large hot air balloon from the Up & Away Thinlets dies in Night of Navy card stock.  Behind the balloon, I layered some Watermelon Wonder polka dot DSP.  There are 5 dies in the set just for this.  The basket under the balloon was cut from a Watermelon Wonder patterned piece from the Carried Away DSP..  The medium and small balloons were stamped with stamps from Lift Me Up in Watermelon Wonder.

Lift

The heart is a stamp from Lift Me Up, and was stamped in Watermelon Wonder, then die cut from the Up & Away Thinlet Die.  While I was cutting out the heart, I slipped a panel of Whisper White in the Big Shot and cut out the large cloud shape.  I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line the sentiment up correctly and stamped it in Night of Navy.

Lift

For the inside panel, I stamped another balloon in Night of Navy, some clouds in Mint Macaron and the extra little basket with the “note” image in Watermelon Wonder and Night of Navy.

If you haven’t purchased the Lift Me Up Bundle yet, I encourage you to pick it up.  There are so many great sentiments and the balloons are really fun.  Plus, the FREE Carried Away DSP  coordinates beautifully with the set!

A complete list list of supplies and card stock cuts in inches will be at the end of the post.

Stampin’ Up! Best Birds for Happy Inkin’ Thursday

Happy Inkin' Thursday

It’s Thursday again!  Wow, the weeks roll around quickly, don’t they?  I used the Stampin’ Up! Best Birds Bundle for my share today.  This set is found in the Annual Catalog, but it is new to me.  I have had it for a few months, but have just not gotten around to using it.  Crazy, right?  Besides saving 10% when you order the Best Birds and Birds & Blooms Thinlets Dies, the stamps are photopolymer, which are my favorite style of stamps to work with!

Here is our color challenge this week:

Best Birds Color challenge

And, my card:

Best Birds

The branches from Best Birds, were stamped in Early Expresso ink on a panel of Shimmery White card stock.  Next, I stamped the bird image on another panel of Shimmery White and began to color it with a blender pen and Peekaboo Peach, then some Bermuda Bay.  When I was finished coloring, I used the Birds & Blooms Thinlets Dies to cut out the branches and the bird.  I stamped the single flower and the flower and blossom images in Early Expresso onto a panel of Peekaboo Peach and die cut them, also.

Best Birds

The background stamp is also from Best Birds, and was stamped in Early Expresso on Shimmery White card stock. I actually stamped it off two times before stamping on the art panel because I did not want it to overpower the scene. The top two branches were adhered to the art panel with liquid glue and the bird and his branch were popped on with dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment onto a panel of Peekaboo Peach in Early Expresso and die cut it with one of the Popcorn Box Thinlets Dies.  One extra banner was cut with Early Expresso card stock to add behind the sentiment banner.

Best Birds

I stamped the other bird image from Best Birds first in Early Expresso ink, then filled in as before quickly blending some Peekaboo Peach and Bermuda Bay inks over his body.

A complete list of supplies as well as card stock cuts for this card may be found at the end of my post.

Stampin’ Up! Avant Garden Hello

Happy Sunday, thanks for stopping by!  My share today is from the FREE Avant Garden stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  Wow, do I love this set.  It is my first time using it, and I already have another card in mind for it!

Avant Garden

This is a very clean and simple card to do, it came together in just a few minutes.  We all need those cards every now and then, right?  I started with a Wild Wasabi card base and stamped the dotted images from Avant Garden all over it in the same colored ink.

Avant Garden

Next, I went to work creating my “garden”.  I stamped the flower image from Avant Garden in Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach, stamping off some of them to get different shades of color. The flower centers are stamped in Soft Suede ink.   Then, I added the leaf images,  randomly stamping in Wild Wasabi ink.  I added the Hello sentiment from Flourishing Phrases, in Soft ink.  I chose a pattern from the Playful Palette DSP stack and adhered it at angle onto the base with liquid glue.  The art panel was then popped onto the front with dimenstionals.

Avant Garden

I added some more flowers and leaves to the bottom of the Very Vanilla panel and adhered it with liquid glue for the inside.  Violá, very quick and easy!  Now, don’t  you love this set, too?  Remember, with any $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration, this set can be yours for FREE, too!
