My card today uses the Lots of Joy stamps set from Stampin’ Up! for the Pals Paper Arts PPA 265 challenge. This stamp set is found in the Stampin’ Up! 2015-2016 Annual Catalog, so you can order it right away!
Be sure to stop by the Pals Paper Arts blog and check out all of the beautiful cards over there!
I love the new Holidays Fancy Foil Vellum, available September 1st (very soon!!) I used a piece of it and placed it on top of a piece of Real Red from the Brights Designer Series Paper stacks (the diagonals behind the trees) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered that layer to a piece of Whisper White cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then applied that new layer to the Real Red card base.
Next, I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Lots of Joy set onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock with Versa Mark ink and sprinkled it with Black embossing powder. I heated that right up with my Heat Tool for a beautiful embossed finish. Next I attached this piece to a piece of Real Red cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. It is attached to the front with Dimensionals. I used the Tree Punch and cut two images, one from Real Red and one from the same Holidays Fancy Foil Vellum as the front of the card, glued them together and popped it up with Dimensionals. I used the bow from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlets die set, attached it with a glue dot and perked it up with a Rhinestone Basic Jewel. Lastly, I stamped the postage stamp image in Real Red ink onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, cut it out with the awesome Paper Snips, attached it to a little bit larger square of Real Red paper and glued it to the corner of the small insert with Multipurpose Liquid glue.
The inside is also from the Lots of Joy set and was heat embossed onto Whisper White cardstock with Versa Mark ink and Black Stampin’ Emboss powder, and the bottom finished off with a strip of the Red Brights Diagonal DSP using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue once again.
If you are in need of any stamping supplies, I would be happy to be your Demonstrator. Just click on the Stamp With Me Button and go directly to my online store, or email me with any questions you may have.
Stampin’ Up! items used in my card for today:
See you next time! Thanks for stopping by today!
Another Christmas card today! I am really getting in the holiday spirit with all of the Christmas cards I have been making lately. The inspiration for my card is from the Freshly Made Sketches FMS 201 Challenge for this week. I used the Lots of Joy stamp set from the 2015-16 Annual Catalog from Stampin’ Up!
I used a little license with the sketch as I wanted more of the Merry Moments DSP to show on the front of the card. Make sure you head over and check out all of the other beautiful cards here. Here is the sketch:
First, I inked up the ornament in Versa Mark ink and then sprinkled on Cherry Cobbler embossing powder and heated it with the heat tool. I used the Circles Framelets Dies and the 2″ circle punch for several colored layers of circles. I also used Versa Mark ink and Cherry Cobbler embossing powder for the sentiment. The Merry Moments DSP was glued to the Old Olive piece and then I attached the Smoky Slate piece and popped up that one layer with Dimensionals. The ornament is also popped up with Dimensionals. The bow was attached with a small glue dot.
I decided to decorate the inside, too, and I used another stamp set, Versatile Christmas, for that sentiment. Versatile Christmas is in the Home for the Holidays catalog, available for ordering on September 1st. Just a couple of days away!!
The envelope looked a little plain, so I stamped it up, too.

Gift Bag alternate from May, 2015 Paper Pumpkin Kit
I needed a quick bag to stuff some chocolate candy in for a gift for my Doctor’s office the other day, and remembered I still had a couple of bags left from my May Paper Pumpkin kit.
This is definitely one of my favorite kits. There were 4 gift bags and 6 cards with a lot of fun extras to dress them all up! I changed my bag up just a little by using Daffodil Delight Card stock that I ran through the Big Shot with the Lucky Stars and Happy Heart embossing folders for the smaller balloons. I attached them to the inside with some Tear and Tape. Next, I cut a strip from one of the card bases (the striped paper on the center balloon) and punched each end with the Banner Triple Punch, then attached the Expressions Natural Elements Thanks with Multipurpose Glue to it. That piece was then glued to the Calypso Coral balloon and popped up with Dimensionals. The sentiment on the tag was from For All Things.

Products used in creating my alternate Paper Pumpkin bag:
Happy Thursday! see you next time. 🙂
I used the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper (available Sept.1st) and the Oh, What Fun stamp set (available Sept. 1st) to create my card for the Sunday Stamps SSC #108 today. I may reach my goal for getting Christmas Cards made before the Christmas rush if I keep getting inspired with all of the new products from the Holiday Catalog! 🙂
Here is the Sunday Stamps Sketch # 108 for the week. Be sure to check out all of the beautiful cards over there!
I wanted the Home for Christmas piece to have some snow falling, so I used the snow flake stamp from the White Christmas Stamp set and inked it up with Versa Mark. Then, I sprinkled it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder and heat embossed it with the Heat Tool. Not sure if it shows too well in the picture-especially the sparkle from the powder I used!
Next, I stamped a strip of Mint Macaron card stock with Versa Mark Ink and embossed it with Early Expresso embossing powder(sorry it is now retired!), and heated it with the Heat Tool. I adhered both the Home for Christmas piece and the Mint Macaron strip to a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I added a length of Real Red 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon on top of where the two pieces met. This layer was then attached to the Real Red Card base with Dimensionals. The bow is made from a piece of the new Mint Macaron 1″ Dotted Lace Trim. I used some Silver Metallic Thread and a Real Red button (also retired) for the bow which I attached with a Glue Dot.
For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment with a stamp from the new Oh, What Fun stamp set, available on September 1st in Early Expresso. Finally, I adhered a strip of Home for Christmas DSP to a strip of Mint Macaron with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and attached that piece to the bottom of the card.

Are you ready for the upcoming holiday season? We have 3 holidays that will be here much too soon! My card today focuses on Christmas. A few of the products used in my card are from this year’s Holiday Catalog. Stampin’ Up! customers may begin ordering on September 1st, just a few days away. Demonstrators have been able to order for a few weeks-there are so many wonderful things to choose from. Plenty for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas
My card design was inspired by Sketch and Stamp Challenge 118 or SB118. Be sure to head over to their site and check out all of the other fabulous cards!
I started out with a piece of Color Me Irresistible DSP and sponged it with Pool Party ink. I attached it to a piece of Real Red card stock and added a piece of Real Red 1/4″Cotton Ribbon just below the center with adhesive.
Next, I fussy cut a Santa image from a piece of Home For Christmas DSP (available September 1st). I cut a piece of Real Red Brights Collection DSP (stripes) and a piece of Pool Party cardstock for the squares behind Santa. I ran them through the Big Shot using the Squares Collection thinlet dies. I also used the new Softly Falling Embossing Folder (available September 1st), for the smallest square and ran it through the Big Shot because I wanted to continue the look of falling snow behind Santa. The two squares were glued together with multipurpose glue, then attached to the front of the card with dimensionals. Santa was added to the top with dimensionals, also. I stamped the sentiment with the new stamp set, Oh What Fun (available on September 1st) ,in Versa Mark and then sprinkled it with black embossing powder and heated it with the Heat Tool and cut it out with one of the Chalk Talk Thinlet Dies. I cut a second tag in Real Red and attached them just under the squares with multipurpose liquid glue.

I love the new Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum paper! I think the Flurry of Wishes stamp set and Snow Flurry Punch work beautifully with it, don’t you?
The snowflakes were stamped with Versa Mark onto Vellum paper, then sprinkled with Silver Embossing Powder(thanks to my friend, Jill-I thought I had some, but didn’t, and had to borrow hers), then heated them with my heat tool. I used the new Snow Flurry Punch to cut them out. It cuts two snowflakes at once. Nice! I also heat embossed the sentiment on Vellum paper with Silver Embossing Powder. I thought it needed some bling, so I added some Silver and Island Indigo sequins and also some Jewels Basic Rhinestones. The ribbon is Whisper White Organza. I popped everything up with Dimensionals for interest and decided to work on the inside, too.
I used the Flurry Of Wishes set again for the snowflake images and stamped them in Island Indigo. The sentiment is also from that set.

I used the stamp set Lots of Joy to create my card today. Earlier this year, I decided to make a few Christmas cards each month so that I would have all of my cards made. Well, I started out strong but…..anyway, here is one more to add to my stash!
My card was inspired by the Sketch and Stamp Challenge SB116.
I started out by running my Old Olive cardstock piece through the Big Shot in the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder, then attaching it to the Whisper White cardstock with Multipurpose Glue. I attached that layer to the Cherry Cobbler base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Next, I cut one end of my strip of Merry Moments DSP with the Triple Banner punch and then repeated with the strip of Regals Color Collection DSP and attached them to the left side of the card with Multipurpose Glue. I punched out a piece of Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White cardstock with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and stamped the white piece with a sentiment from the Lots of Joy stamp set. Notice that I stamped with Versa Mark and then used Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder and heat embossed it. Those pieces were secured together with Multipurpose Glue and then attached to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The trees were cut out with the adorable Tree punch and I used the Itty Bitty Accents star punch to decorate the top. I popped up the red tree with Dimensionals to give it more interest. For a finishing touch, I used some Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Baker’s twine to make a bow on top of a Gold Basic Metal Button and used a Glue Dot to attach it to the top of the tag.
The inside sentiment of the card was also heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder and the envelope decorated with the Christmas tree stamp from the Lots of Joy stamp set in Old Olive ink.
If you are in need of stamping supplies, I would love to be your Demonstrator. Please check out my Shop With Me button on the right and go straight to my online store. Email me with any questions you may have.

Products used in making my card today:
Today’s card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches FMS197. I need a few birthday cards this month, as I have two sons and their wives(one is a fiancé-soon to be a daughter in law-yea), with August birthdays and a close friend to add to that list. Wow, I had better get busy, 5 cards to make!!
Here is the design sketch from Freshly Made Sketches FMS197.
I started out by adhering the Crushed Curry card stock to the thick Whisper White card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue This paper is so nice and sturdy. Glad that Stampin’ Up! added it to the line up of papers this year. Next, I took the Bermuda Bay cardstock and placed it in the large Polka Dot Embossing folder and ran it through the Big shot. It was also glued to the piece of Crushed Curry cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Next, I cut a piece of Cherry on Top DSP and cut one end with the new Banner Triple Punch. I did the same with a piece of Watermelon Wonder cardstock and glued them onto the Bermuda Bay cardstock. The balloons were cut with the Balloon Framelets in Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Watermelon Wonder cardstock. I used the Lucky Stars and Happy Heart Embossing Folders to add some interest to the balloon shapes. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the May Paper Pumpkin kit called Birthday Bundle. It was stamped in Versa Mark and heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss powder. The balloons are popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals and tied with Bermuda Bay Baker’s Twine.
These are the items I used to complete my card for today:
Don’t forget there is only one more day for the Stampin’ Up! Weekly Deals for the week of July 28-August 3rd. Don’t miss out on any of these great products!
If you need any stamping supplies I would love to be your Demonstrator. Please click the Shop With Me button on the sidebar to go directly to my online store. If you have any questions, please email me and I will be glad to assist you. Happy Stamping!
