Hi Stampers, hope your Monday shapes up to be a wonderful start to the work week! I am so delighted that the Daisy Punch is now order-able, and I know you are too! What a fun punch to compliment the Delightful Daisy Suite of products. With that being said, my card today was created with the Daisy Delight Bundle.
I started by adhering a panel of Delightful Daisy Designer Series paper to a panel of Daffodil Delight card stock with some liquid glue, and then to the Old Olive base with more glue. Next, I stamped two of the stem images from Daisy Delight in Old Olive onto a panel of Whisper White. Because these stamps are photopolymer, I was able to bend the stems in any direction I wanted them.
Next, I chose the thank you sentiment from the Wood Words stamp set and stamped it in Old Olive ink near the bottom left corner of my art panel. I stamped several of the daisy images in Daffodil Delight on Whisper White card stock and punched them out with the Daisy Punch. Then, I cut some of the daisies in half and overlapped the petals to look as if it was half of a flower. Two of the daisies were left whole and layered together to create a fuller flower. The centers were stamped separately in Old Olive and I fussy cut them with Paper Snips and adhered them to the middle of the flower with glue.
The art panel was matted with a panel of Old Olive. Then a length of 1/4″ Copper Trim was wrapped around it once and a bow was tied near the center of the flower stems. The art panel was popped onto the right side with some Stampin’ Dimensionals, then I added more dimensionals to the flower heads and popped them over the stems.
Another stem was stamped on the inside panel and the remaining daisy half added to the left of the sentiment. This sentiment is also found in the Daisy Delight stamp set. Quick, easy, done!
A complete list of stamping supplies plus card stock cuts will be at the end of my post.
