Warmth & Cheer Christmas Ornaments! – October Bonus Project*

Today’s bonus project is created by Christy Fulk,  www.createwithchristy.blogspot.com

It’s hard to believe, but it’s time to start making your Christmas projects for this year! This tutorial shows how to make four, festive Christmas ornaments for your Christmas tree. The ornaments feature the Pretty Pines Thinlits, Starlight Thinlits, and the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Pack. These ornaments would also be perfect for decorating the outside of your Christmas gifts. This would make a great Christmas class, too.

To get the instructions for Christy’s project, just subscribe to October (or one of our 3, 6 or 12 month discounted packages!), and meet one of the bonus project requirements of subscribing to two or more months in a row, putting the Craft Project Central badge on your blog, or referring a friend and when they subscribe, letting us know!!

*Bonus projects can be obtained by subscribing to two or more months in a row, putting the Craft Project Central badge on your blog, or by referring a friend and when you subscribe, letting Craft Project Central know.

Stampin’ Up! Presents & Pinecones Gift Bag & Card

Today I am sharing a little gift bag & card using Presents & Pinecones Designer Series paper.  If you missed the box in a bag I shared yesterday, you can check it out HERE.

Gift Bag & Card Set

Gift bag with card

Before I became a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, and was just starting rubber stamping, I would see something someone else designed and  just copy it.  Now, almost always, I either come up with my own ideas or see something on Pinterest that sparks an idea.  But not today, this idea came from Debbie Henderson.  When I saw her adorable creation, I knew I needed to use it for a little Christmas Gift Bag.  And her card idea, too, just adorable.  You can see her bags and cards HERE.

Now, if you haven’t taken advantage of the Designer Series Paper Sale, today is the last day!  And, this super fabulous Presents & Pinecones DSP is on that list!  Make sure and order today so that you can make several gift bags & cards like these! The bag measures 3″ across, 3 3/4″ tall and 1 1/2″ deep.  The gift card is 3″ square.  I used the Season of Joy and the holly stamps from Christmas Pines to stamp the sentiment and holly accents.  The ribbon handles are lengths of Emerald Envy 3/8″ Ruched Ribbon.

Petals & Paisleys Box in a Bag Gift Bag

Happy Saturday, I have a fun Box in a Bag gift bag to share today.  I used the beautiful Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! to create my gift bag/box.

Box in a Bag Gift Bag

Box in a Bag

I was asked to create a project for the Creative Crew at Splitcoaststampers using a technique from their tutorial pages   this month.   When I spotted a tutorial on a Box in a Bag, I knew that I had to try it out.  I don’t know about you, but I am always looking for new ways to package little thank you gifts.  This project is fun and easy!

The tutorial uses retired Stampin’ Up! products, so I improvised with up to date products.  The “bag” part of my Box in a Bag uses Petals & Paisleys Specialty DSP.  The “box’ part, found on the bottom uses Mint Macaron card stock.

Box in a Bag

I used the decorative die from the Flourish Thinlets to create a little border for the top of the box.  It was adhered with liquid glue.  Next, I used my Mint Macaron Stampin’ Write marker to create stitches on the top and bottom.  I punched two Mint Macaron Decorative Labels, folded them and adhered them to the top of the bag with Tear & Tape Adhesive.  The ribbons are threaded through two holes punched in the labels with a non-Stampin’ Up! hole punch.

CPC Star Album with Coordinating Card & Tag

This is my second post for today and it is another project from Craft Project Central for October.  The designer is Melissa Kerman.

Star Album with Card and Tag Set

star album

This set of projects is a gift set, photo album and home décor piece for the holidays, all in one. The Star Album has seven unique decorated panels and seven spots for photos. The wide variety of stamps, materials and techniques used make it an extra special gift or home décor item. Some of the panels are simple and others have a lot of detail.  They are all finely crafted to pair with your treasured holiday pictures. The coordinating tag and card can be given separately or the whole ensemble can be given as a gift to one special recipient.

To get the instructions for Melissa’s project, just subscribe to October (or one of the 3, 6 or 12 month discounted packages)!

Paisley Birthday for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Hi Stampers, it’s a sketch challenge this week, and I have created a Paisley Birthday card using Paisleys & Posies from Stampin’ Up!

Here is our sketch challenge :

Paisley Birthday sketch

Stampin’ Up! Paisley Birthday from Paisleys & Posies stamp set:

Paisley Birthday

As beautiful as this Petals & Paisleys Spectialty DSP is, it is difficult to photograph!  (At least for me)  The copper and navy really make a statement together, don’t they?

Paisley Birthday

The Petals & Paisleys DSP was adhered to a panel of Copper Foil with glue, then popped onto the Night of Navy card stock base with dimensionals.  Using some Versa Mark ink, I stamped two of the paisley images from Paisleys & Posies onto a scrap of Night of Navy card stock.  Then, I sprinkled them with Copper Emboss powder and heat embossed them. Once cooled, I die cut them with the matching Paisley Framelits Dies.

Paisley Birthday

I pulled out the leaf looking die from the Paisley Framelits and die cut one from the Copper Foil Sheets. Next,  I stamped Happy Birthday from Sunshine Sayings in Versa Mark ink onto a scrap of Night of Navy card stock and also heat embossed it with Copper Emboss powder.  It was cut out with a small Layering Oval Die and glued onto a Copper Foil label I punched with my Deco Label punch. The label and die cuts were popped onto the front with dimensionals.

Paisley Birthday

I used the Celebrate You sentiment from Suite Sayings and stamped it in Night of Navy ink onto a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  Two strips of the Petals & Paisley Specialty DSP were added to the top and bottom of the sentiment panel.

Paisley Birthday

To  complete my Paisley Birthday card, I stamped the floral image onto a Very Vanilla medium envelope in Night of Navy ink.

Card stock cuts in inches and products used in creating my card are at the end of the post.

Stampin’ Up! Jolly Friends Santa

I am sharing the Jolly Friends Santa from Stampin’ Up! on my Christmas Card for today.

Jolly Friends Santa

Jolly Friends Santa

I have been wanting to use up some of my Candy Cane Lane Designer Washi Tape for a while, so I pulled it out and put it to use!  As you can see, I taped it on the diagonal on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Next, I stamped the Jolly Friends Santa face in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Aren’t those shades so cute?  They are also stamped in Tuxedo Black ink.  Jolly Friends is a photopolymer set, so those glasses were easy to stamp onto Santa’s face.

Jolly Friends Santa

Because I bought the Jolly Friends stamps and Jolly Hat Builder Punch as a bundle, i saved 10% on my purchase and  it was easy to create the hat.  First, I stamped the top of the hat in Cucumber Crush, then punched it out.  Next, I punched out the band and pom-pom three times in Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper.  By punching out three of each, they seem to stand out more.  Santa’s face was fussy cut using my Paper Snips.

Jolly Friends Santa

I used the Ho Ho Ho sentiment from Oh, What Fun, and stamped it in Real Red just above the layers of washi tape.  I glued the hat to my Jolly Friends Santa face, and popped him onto the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A length of Cucumber Crush Thick Baker’s Twine was wrapped around the panel and I tied a bow, securing it with tape on the back and a glue dot on the front.

Jolly Friends Santa

For the inside, I glued down a panel of Real Red Brights DSP onto the Whisper White card stock base. Then  I stamped Happy Christmas  and the Holly image from Oh What Fun, onto a panel of Whisper White card stock.  The bottom has a little more Candy Cane Lane Designer Washi Tape added to finish the sentiment panel.

Card stock cuts and products used for my Jolly Friends Santa will be at the end of the post.

Wonderful Year for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Welcome to our Happy Stampers Blog Hop.  I am sharing a card using Wonderful Year from Stampin’ Up!  Wonderful Year has two very large sentiments that create quite a statement for your Christmas cards this year.

Here is our color challenge for this week:

wonderful for Happy Stampers

wonderful Year

I began by inking up the Wishing You a Joyful Christmas stamp from Wonderful Year in Cherry Cobbler ink.  Before stamping, I used a baby wipe to clean off the bough and berry image on either side of the sentiment.   Then, I used my Emerald Envy Stampin’ Write marker to color them in, huffed all over the ink and stamped onto a square panel of Whisper White card stock.  I added two Cherry Cobbler Enamel Shapes where the berries would be.  A frame of Emerald Envy card stock was adhered to the sentiiment panel with liquid glue.

Wonderful Year

I cut a narrow panel from Presents & Pinecones DSP (part of the buy 3 get 1 free sale going on right now), and glued it to a panel of Emerald Envy card stock (striped) from the 2016-2018 In color Designer Series Paper Stacks.  That panel was then glued to a little larger panel of Emerald Envy card stock before popping it onto the Mint Macaron card stock base with dimensionals.  Using the small bow from the Pretty Pines Thinlets Dies, I die cut three bows in Cherry Cobbler.  Those three are glued together with tiny dots of liquid glue.

I cut a length of Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine and pulled one end through the Holly Christmas Trinket, wrapped it around the loops of the bow, tied a knot and trimmed off the ends.  A couple of glue dots were added to the back to secure it to the front of the sentiment panel, then the panel added to the front of the card with dimensionals.

Wonderful Year

The inside Whisper White panel is stamped with another of the sentiments from Wonderful Year in Cherry Cobbler and Emerald Envy inks.  I used another panel of the Emerald Envy In Colors DSP as a frame for the sentiment panel, and again glued them with liquid glue.

Card stock cuts in inches and products used will be at the end of my post.

Now, please hop on over to Kristi’s blog to see her beautiful creation for today.  A list of all of the Happy Stampers is provided so that you may hop around to any of them again.
