Stampin’ Up! Honeycomb Happiness and Party Pants

Happy Monday to you!  My share for today is from the Stampin’ Up! Honeycomb Happines stamp set and the newest Sale-a-Bration stamp set called Party Pants.  Both of these sets are FREE for just a few more weeks!  Want to find out how to earn them for free?  I will explain at the end of this post.Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration Honeycomb Happiness and Party Pants birthday card by Cardiology by Jari

Honeycomb Happiness is such a cute set of stamps, and the chick is really versatile-not just for Easter, but would be really cute for all sorts of Easter paper projects.  Party Pants has so many perfect sayings and it coordinates with the Balloon Bouquet Punch (which I used).  Click here to see the newest flyer for Sale-a-Bration and the newest free products!

Making this card takes no time, either, which is a plus when you need a birthday card in a flash!  I stamped the chick from Honeycomb Happiness first onto a panel of Whisper White with Basic Black ink, then again on a panel of Crushed Curry.  I snipped out the Crushed Curry chick, cutting off the feet, and attached the body to the Whisper White panel with glue, then colored in the feet and beak with my Tangelo Twist Stampin’ Write marker.  I stamped the sentiment from Party Pants onto a piece of Mint Macaron with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with White embossing powder.  Once cool and set, I punched out the balloon using the Balloon Bouquet Punch.

I used a fun stamp from Watercolor Words for the inside sentiment and added some Mint Macaron Designer Washi Tape.  And, for fun, I decorated the envelope front with the balloon image from the Stampin’ Up! Party Pants stamp set.

Stampin’ Up! Botanicals for You for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

1424388_1316812531678652_7544545586417585175_n

We are so glad you joined us today for our Happy Stampers color challenge! For my share, I am using the Stampin’ Up! Botanicals for You stamp set, from the Sale-a-Bration catalog, and a lot of help from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.  When you have such beautiful paper to play with, you need to showcase it once in a while, don’t you think?

Stampin' Up! Botanicals for You

We are working with these colors today:

12241768_1305622122797693_8981835550585165024_n

If you’re looking for a quick and easy card, this one is it!  Of course, there is a little fussy cutting-so some of you may not think that is so quick or easy, but trust me, this one is not too difficult!   I started by fussy cutting a flower image from the Birthday Bouquet DSP, then added some seed pearls to the center.

Botanicals for You Stampin' Up Sale-a-BrationNext  I chose the sentiment stamp from Botanicals for You minus one of the words.  I covered the word Just with tape, inked the rest of the stamp in Mossy Meadow, removed the tape, and stamped onto a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I used a banner die from Banners Framelits and cut out the sentiment, then bordered it with another banner in Mossy Meadow card stock.  The fussy cut flower was then attached to the banner with Multipurpose Liquid glue.

Stampin' Up! Botanicals for You by Card-iology by Jari

I layered some of the Birthday Bouquet DSP onto a panel of Mossy Meadow with MP glue, then adhered that layer to the Blushing Bride card base with MP glue.  A Tea Lace Paper Doily was glued to the front, then I cut a length of Blushing Bride Sequin Trim and secured it to the front with the Dimensionals I used to attach the banner/sentiment panel. Easy, easy!

Stampin' Up! Botanicals for You by Card-iology by Jari

The inside sentiment was also stamped with the Botanicals for You stamp set, and I used more of the DSP to trim the bottom.  The Stampin’ Up! Botanicals for You stamp set is FREE during Sale-a-Bration.  What a fun set to have.  If you have followed my blog for a while, you may have noticed that I have used this set quite a bit-I do love it!!

I finished it up by adding an envelope liner to compliment the card:

Card stock cuts will be at the end of the post.

And now, on to the rest of the hop.  Kristi Gray is next in line.  Please head her way and see what beautiful creation she has for us today.  Below will be a list of all of the Happy Stampers in case you want to travel around again. And, don’t forget to leave a comment, we love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Flowering Fields Sale-a-Bration Note Cards

As promised, I am sharing the two other note cards from the set of 4 I have made using Stampin’ Up!  Flowering Fields, one of the FREE stamp sets from the Stampin’ Up!  Sale-a-Bration catalog.  I love the coordinating DSP, too!  It is called Wildflower Fields.

Stampin' Up! Flowering Fields by Cardiology by Jari

And here are the first two I shared on Monday:

Stampin' Up Flowering Fields by Card-iology by Jari

These really would make a nice gift for someone-especially a little hostess gift or teacher appreciation gift.

Stampin' Up! Flowering Fields by Cardiology by Jari

First I stamped the leaf images onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I didn’t want them to overpower the other colorful flowers, so I stamped off once using Old Olive ink.  The flower image that matches the DSP was stamped with Basic Black archival ink, then colored with Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Markers. This sentiment is from Bloomin’ love, stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink.  The butterfly was also stamped with the Basic Black ink and colored with Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral Markers, then fussy cut and popped onto the panel with a small piece of a Dimensional.  Old Olive Baker’s Twine was wrapped around the art panel and a bow tied before popping it onto the card base with Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Flowering Fields by Cardiology by Jari

For this note card, I used another flower image from Flowering Fields, stamped in Basic Black ink, and colored in with Calypso Coral, Lost Lagoon and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Markers. I framed the oval art piece with the banner die from the Mini Treat Bag Framelits dies.   For the sentiment, I used another one of the FREE Sale-a-Bration stamps called Pedal Pusher. You will also find the little bird stamp in that set.  The banner stamp is from Bloomin’ Love.  I just taped over the leaf images so that they would not appear on the banner.  Just remember to remove the tape before you stamp!  This advice comes from someone who did not do that once and ruined her art piece.  🙂  I used the banner die from the Large Numbers Framelits to cut it and then popped it on the front with Dimensionals.

You still have time to get this awesome set, Flowering Fields, during Sale-a-Bration, but don’t wait too long, or it will be gone forever.

Happy Monday to you!  My share for today is from the Stampin’ Up! I love how easily these note cards went together by using the Flowering Fields stamp set and coordinating paper!

Stampin' Up! Flowering Fields by Card-iology by Jari

I added the bee from the Stampin’ Up! Garden in Bloom stamp set and the sentiment stamp is from another one of the free Sale-a-Bration sets called Party Pants.  I used Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Hello Honey Stampin’ Write Markers to color the flowers, leaves and the bee after I had first stamped them with Basic Black archival ink.  The sentiment was stamped with Basic Black ink, too.

Stampin' Up! Flowering Fields by Card-iology by Jari

I stamped the flower from Flowering Fields first with Basic Black archival ink, then colored in the leaves and blooms with Old Olive and Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write Markers.  The sentiment, from Another Thank You, from Stampin’ Up!, was stamped in Basic Black archival ink, too.

Stampin’ Up! Pedal Pusher Happy Birthday

I used the Stampin’ Up! Pedal Pusher Sale-a-Bration stamp set for my card to share with you today.

Stampin' Up! Pedal Pusher Happy Birthday by Cardiology by Jari

Stampin’ Up! just released this stamp set, Pedal Pusher, as a new limited time product during Sale-a-Bration.  Wow, don’t you love it?  Especially since it is free with any purchase of $50. before tax and shipping!!  If you haven’t seen the new releases, just click here to take a look.  And, watch a video on the Pedal Pusher set to get some more inspiration!   Don’t wait too long to get this set-March 31st is the last day, or while supplies last.

I started with the bicycle built for two from Pedal Pusher, and stamped it in Memento Black ink, then colored it with my Stampin’ Write markers.  It was then fussy cut with Paper Snips.

Stampin' Up! Pedal Pusher Birthday card by Card-iology by Jari

I actually used one of the other new stamp sets from Sale-a-Bration called Party Pants, for the sentiment on balloon on front.  Tne balloons were punched with the new Balloon Bouquet punch. I love it because it will punch two sizes of balloons!   I stamped the Melon Mambo one with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with White embossing powder, then gave all of the balloons some depth with my uni-ball gel Signo pen.

The card layers are from It’s My Party DSP, and the card base is Melon Mambo.  The Baker’s Twine combo pack colors of Melon Mambo/Basic Black and Mint Macaron/ Basic Black tie in so nicely with this paper for the balloon strings.

Stampin' Up! Pedal Pusher Birthday card by Card-iology by JariSo, for the inside, I used yet again another stamp set, Party Wishes, for these balloons and strings. (Watch a video here on Party Pants.)

The sentiment is also from the new Sale-a-Bration Party Pants set.  It’s fun mixing it up with all of Stampin’ Up! birthday themed stamps!  The colors, Melon Mambo, Mint Macaron and Crushed Curry were also used to tie it all together.

Card stock cuts in inches, will be at the end of the post.

Hi Stampers, and welcome to our Thursday Happy Stampers Blog Hop!  We have a sketch challenge to play along with.  I used the Stampin’ Up! Botanical Blooms stamp set for my creation today.

Stampin' Up! Botanical Blooms by Cardiology by Jari

Stampin’ Up! Botanical Blooms and the whole Botanical Gardens suite is one of my favorites in the Occasions Catalog!  I started by creating the flowers with the Botanical Builders Framelits Dies.  Then, I cut out the leaves and stamped the details with the Botanical Blooms stamps.  Notice that the DSP has also been stamped-the leaves and flower centers are free of detail so that you may add your own!

Stampin' Up! Botanical Blooms by Cardiology by Jari

I also used a stamp from Botanicals for You, from the Sale-a-Bration catalog, for the banner sentiment.  This set is free with any order of $50 before tax and shipping until March 31st. If you order the Botanical Blooms bundle, you can get Botanicals for You for FREE!!

I covered a part of the sentiment with tape before stamping, then removed the tape and stamped it onto the banner image from Bloomin’ Love. Notice that I also covered the two leaf images from that banner (with tape) and then stamped.  The banner and flowers are popped up onto the card base with Dimensionals, and the leaves added with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I decided to keep the inside very simple:

Stampin’ Up! the Sky is the Limit

Happy Saturday!  I decided to make a Valentine card using the Stampin’ Up! Sky is the Limit stamps from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  This is a really fun set and what makes it even better is it can be yours for FREE when you purchase $50 in Stampin’ Up! products.  You only have a limited time to get your hands on this great set, though.  It is only available through February 15th.  If you love it as much as me, you need to hurry and get yours!

Sky is the Limit by Cardiology by Jari

I started out by stamping the bi-plane image from Sky is the Limit in Basic Black archival ink onto Very Vanilla card stock and fussy cut it with my paper snips.  Next, I layered the Typeset Specialty DSP onto a panel of Basic Black with Multipurpose liquid glue, then glued a strip of the stripe from the Typeset DSP to a panel of Basic Black and glued it to the front and popped it onto the Real Red base with Dimensionals.

Sky is the Limit by Cardiology by JariDimensionals were added to the plane and the hearts before popping  them onto the front.  My banner is stamped in Real Red with a sentiment from the Bloomin’ Love stamp set from Stampin’ Up! , and framed the banner with another banner in Basic Black. It was also added with Dimenensionals.

Sky is the Limit by Cardiology by Jari

I love this sentiment from Sky is the Limit, and I thought it worked well for this Valentine card.  What do you think?

Stampin’ Up! Friendly Wishes for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Happy Stampers Blog Hop

I chose the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Wishes stamp set today for my share for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop.  Since Valentine’s Day is coming very soon, I decided I needed to get busy…

Friendly Wishes by Cardiology by Jari

Here is the sketch used for today’s  challenge:

If you are in need of a quick and easy card, this one fills the bill.  For the background, I layered a panel of Love Blossoms DSP onto a little larger panel of Garden Green, then attached that to the Blushing Bride card base with multipurpose liquid glue.

Friendly Wishes by Cardiology by Jari

The sentiment, from Stampin’ Up! Friendly Wishes, was stamped in Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride, and Rose Red onto a panel of Whisper White using my Stamp-a-ma-jig.  Boy is that a life saver!  I framed the sentiment panel with a panel of Rose Red using Multipurpose Liquid glue to attach them, then popped it onto the base with Dimensionals.

Friendly Wishes by Cardiology by JariThe banner, from the new Bloomin’ Love stamp set, was stamped in Garden Green, and cut out using the banner die from the wonderful new Large Numbers Framelits Dies.  In case you did not realize it, this can be bundled with the Number of Years stamp set for a great $avings deal and will earn you Free items from the Sale-a-Bration sale going on right now at Stampin’ Up! I stamped Be Mine, also from the Bloomin’ Love stamp set, in Rose Red ink. I decided I needed a little bling, so I punched out a small heart of Blushing Bride glimmer paper using my Itty Bitty heart Accents punch.  It and the banner are popped onto the front with Dimensionals.

Friendly Wishes by Cardiology by JariFor the inside, I chose another sentiment from Bloomin’ Love, which I stamped in Rose Red onto a panel of Whisper White, then I added two more hearts and a bottom border with a left over strip of the DSP I used on the front.
